Ivan the Terrible is responsible for the construction of St. Basil's Cathedral in the 16th century. Popular legend has it that Ivan the Terrible had the architect of St. Basil's eyes put out after the cathedral was completed so that the architect would not be able to build an equally beautiful structure anywhere else. I suppose that's why he wasn't known as Ivan the Pleasant.....those architect's should've known what they were getting in to.
I decided to take the "backway" to work this morning and was gently reminded there are few times more quiet and peaceful then the morning after a snowstorm clears out. Not a bad way to start off the workday 😎

Capturing this moment was beyond an amazing experience! Considering the harsh weather, the dying battery and the makeshift support for the tripod, I’m beyond content with how it came out! #lunareclipse
