Painting on wood slabs has been one of my favourite projects over the past year. I’ve really enjoyed challenging myself by painting on a completely different surface and trying out some different techniques. Lately I’ve had the urge and inspiration to paint on other objects. My first experiment was to buy some antique frames and prime and paint directly onto the glass. The second experiment came when I found these really cool lanterns. I immediately envisioned hand painting them with a starry landscape. I still have so much to learn about painting on glass and different surfaces but I’m enjoying the challenge! Which is your favourite surface that I paint on? What would you like to see more of!?
