Several years ago I read @mariekondo ‘s book ‘The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up’. I’ve always been pretty fanatical about donating or discarding anything in my closet that I hadn’t worn in the last year. About two years ago; I followed Marie’s advice on tidying and only keeping what brought me joy for my entire house. I was pretty good at keeping things ‘just in case’ ; mostly serving pieces for entertaining. We are doing some remodeling to our home and over the last two days I’ve discarded even more! Three huge bags of garbage just from my kitchen such as plastic ware, old margarita sets and the like we’re out the door! I feel I’m ready for a new opportunity just by clearing this space! 🌸
Interestingly enough, I read an article about how actress @thedonnamills stays young at 77. One of the things she mentioned was this book for keeping organized and calming her mind. 🌸

4 Tips to stay on track when you’re traveling + 9 healthy snacks you can pack for the plane
#1- So number one, progress not perfection. 📈👍⠀
#2 - Eat slowly. 🐌⠀

If you’re flying, remember that airport food is expensive, like stupid expensive. So don't spend the money on it. ❌💲❌
Pack this instead:
- Unpeeled hard boiled eggs 🥚⠀
- Dark chocolate 🍫⠀
- Unpeeled bananas.🍌⠀
- Trail mix 🥜⠀
- Meat bars/jerky sticks 🥓⠀
- Salmon packs and tuna packs to go 🥫 - And as you're walking through the airport to get to your gate, grab some mayonnaise and mustard that you can squeeze in. ...⠀
- Chopped veggies 🥕🥦
- Chia seeds
- Nut butters 🥜 (peanut butter, almond butter, walnut butter, etc.)

25 years in the making ✨
This past year was probably my favorite one yet including starting my own nutrition private practice, going on my first vacation with Justin, and getting engaged!

I can’t say that a year ago I would have felt confident enough to do the same thing. I was going through a hard time with my weight and my hormones wouldn’t give in to the weight loss methods that worked in the past. It wasn’t until I came across @melissamade and she took me under wing. She taught me how to reset my hormones, to achieve those desired results, and to regain my confidence.

I’ve learned to trust my Happy when it comes to my business. If it doesn’t feel good and bring me joy, it’s a hard pass.⠀
This means clients, my team, conferences, speaking events, trade shows (ugh); in all of these daily business decisions I check first how the thing/activity/person makes me feel.⠀
Then I know if it’s a “hell yeah” or a “hell no!”⠀
