“Sooo... when you say you take photos of a birth do you mean you take pictures of *EVERY*thing?” If by “everything” you mean all the emotion, support, strength, and love that goes into every birth then yes, I photograph everything! But if you are wondering if I only take pictures of babies crowning and emerging from the birth canal, then no. I mean, I can take those images if parents want them (and I have a bunch of times!), but the real story is in all the other details, reactions, and emotions throughout the day. I will always respect a client's wishes and privacy. #motherbirdbirth#kitsapcounty#birthwithoutfear#beautifulbirth#birthstory#optionssupportrespect
When a Wayzgoose artist carves into the matrix, the linoleum, what they hold in their hand is imagination. The tool is a function of that as well as a facilitator. What is incredible about this medium is the materials remain constant, but it is the individual artist who makes it unique. Thank you to all our participating artists for bringing your unique vision to the streets of downtown Bremerton over Labor Day Weekend. It is your willingness to be truthful and vulnerable that makes our event a success. It can be a scary thing to have your work displayed so publicly and with no filter, but know that we’re right there with you. We’ll be there with our troupe of volunteers to help! If you or someone you know would love to help out either Saturday August 31at or Sunday September 1st, go to the link in our profile and sign up! Just as our artists need tools to carve, we need volunteers to make it all happen! It’s an opportunity to engage in imagination on a steamrolling scale! #wayzgoosekitsap2019#wayzgoosekitsap#wayzgoose#volunteer#wayzgoosekitsapvolunteer#pnwartists#lino#linocut#linoprint#linoleum#linoleumprint#reliefprint#reliefprintmaking#downtownbremerton#bremerton#kitsapcounty
The first day of the Kitsap County Fair & Stampede is a busy day for our inspectors!
Our environmental health team inspected about 20 food stands today to make sure meals were being prepared and served safely. Thorough inspections help prevent foodborne illnesses and keep diners healthy.
We hope your family enjoys the fair (and the food!) this week.
KIDS TAKE OVER is this weekend! It’s a Hillcrest favorite so make sure you join us for our ONE GATHERING Sunday at 9:30 AM ONLY! • Bounce house • @johnnyboysbbq food truck afterward • High energy kids worship
Isn’t it amazing when you get your hands on exactly the jewelry you fell in love with way back when? Lindsey saw this beautiful princess cut piece on our Instagram a few months back. When she stopped in last week, she just had to have it for her tragus! Check out that nifty sandblasted finish! 😍✨
Are you ready to get ELEVATED?!? 👉 TRUE STORY: When I first started practicing, I had limitations in one of my shoulders and I would have never been able to do this move. After only 6 months of practicing, I had full range of motion back and no more neck or back pain!! I had no idea how this equipment would make such a difference in my life!! 👈 TRY this flow....same move two variations. Use your longest handles, slide the black handle to the side and double wrap the fabric around your feet to keep it in place. You got this!! Keep practicing and have fun!
In health and happiness, Heather & Melissa 🙃

Today’s painting. I love watching the plants growing in this field down the street from my house. And the clouds are often really captivating in this spot too. 🌱☁️💙
