I missed face to face Friday, but oh well. Haha. Sometimes I don’t realize how far I’ve come. Seeing stuff like this is a reality check. Pic on the left is form my wedding is 2016. Right is from this past Thursday. Cut my hair off and snapped a selfie to send to my stylist so she could see it curled. I wish I had known about Keto before my wedding. I would have loved to have my current face in those pictures, but I love them none the less and I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made since starting Keto in Aug of 2017. There are always ups and downs, but keep at it! You’ll get to your goal. I’m getting closer to mine each day ❤️❤️ #keto#facetransformation#ketoweightloss#ketodiet#ketoresults#twoyears#keepgoing#ketolife#ketolifestyle#dobetterforyou#eatbetter#feelbetter
Weekend with a family who is on a regular non keto diet is hard, very hard, to say the least. So my family is Mexican, the diet consist of the three t's (tortilla, tamales, tortas), among other wonderful foods I was raised with, enchiladas, sopes, tostadas, posole, quesadillas, refried beans and rice, to just name a few.
The list can go on forever. Mexican food is one of the most amazing and wonderful cuisines of the world!!!
The temptation was irresistible, I ate tamales!! However, yes I cheated, but acknowledging my problem is the first step to recovery!! Carbs has been part of my life, and I need to change that.

Even Foxy knows how to beat the heat and stay hydrated. Sparkling water is so good! This peach Perrier is 🙌. It reminds me of peach candy I used to eat when I was a kid. @perrierusa

Many of our Scout & Cellar exclusive brands like the Fieldhouse and Dove Hunt Dog wines use Nomacorc or Stelvin closures. 🍷
Nomacorc reduces issues like cork taint or the cork drying out and becoming brittle.
Many of the wines with nomacorc do not have foil. The foil serves no purpose in protecting the wine. Just one of the small steps that Scout & Cellar takes to ensure we are leaving a small ecological footprint. ❤️👣🌲 #sustainable#renewable#environment#moreyouknow#winewisdom#organicwine#veganwine#biodynamicwine

“Logan what is your caloric intake for the day?!”🤔
First off these are 2 meals for the day...
🍗 CHICKEN THIGH
🥑 HALF AVOCADO
🥥 @wildfoodsco MCT OIL
🍗 CHICKEN THIGH
🥑 HALF AVOCADO
🌳 BRUSSEL SPROUTS
🥚 HARDBOILED EGGS
So my calories for the day do vary depending on the day. My intense full body days will be about 2,200-2,400 calories!
👉 Rest days are just over 2,000 cals. And isolation style workout days it’s about 2,000-2,200!
I always make sure that I have quality fat intake for the day! Some days I’ll have more MCT than others. I use lots of MCT because of how well it goes straight to the liver for energy! Especially in my workout days!
For those who are in need of a little motivation (ahem, me! 🙋🏻♀️) The past couple weeks on vacation have been absolutely blissful! And eating healthy was not a priority! I enjoyed my vacation and I definitely indulged in all the good foods! I also made it a point not to weigh myself during vacation or after, and I still haven’t weighed myself because the scale doesn’t define me and quite frankly I don’t really care! I’m comfortable in my own skin and a number on a scale shouldn’t dictate that.
That being said, I am so ready to get back to running and back to eating clean because let’s be honest, fast food everyday isn’t good for anybody! But I was on vacation, and you know what it’s okay to live a little, ya know?
For those that are new to my weight loss journey, after a rough pregnancy and battling postpartum depression, I started finding comfort in food. 6 months postpartum, I was a hefty 170 lbs. My heaviest was 187 lbs when I went in to labor.
I was a shy, depressed, self loathing girl who just wanted to do anything to avoid going on anti depressants. So I started my weight loss journey in December, and flash forward to today, I have lost a total of 70 lbs from my heaviest weight!
Anything is possible if you are determined to make a change. Im not saying it’s going to be easy, but it will be worth it!
I still struggle with postpartum depression, I think I will always somehow struggle with it for the rest of my life on some days, but I have come so far from that girl on the left. I am happier, healthier, I have more energy for my daughter, family, school, work. And all because I decided enough was enough. 💕
This savory brunch😍
Wild king salmon, avocado, roasted purple sweet potato, alfalfa sprouts, homemade pickled radish and a few cherry tomatoes.
I send out my weekly grocery lists to clients on Saturday, so I have a bit more work to do before I can put my laptop away for the day. This brain food is definitely helping🙏🏼
Wishing you all a beautiful Saturday!
