Another photos sent by Mr Jakaporn, the Chairman or Regional Environment Committee Asia Pacific Airport Council International (ACI) during our airside tour around Kansai International Airport, the world's first manmade island airport. A very humble, bright and wise man indeed as he is willing to listen to every opinion coming from a young professional like me. Once you work for the industry, you are entering a global community.
Kansai Airport (RJBB/KIX) is a special airport to me. I did a research on this airport in 2014 during my Masters in the UK, where I mostly evaluated the planning side; in terms of operations and briefly about environment as part of my Masters' coursework -- and I never thought that I would be able to visit this airport directly this week -- to see what I had known and even more its latest progress.
My experience as aviation professional began from airlines, but after 7 years working with airlines and I studied Masters where I studied many advanced airports in the world, I must admit that I have been more attracted ever since and will continue to learn more about this sector. I am blessed to have this opportunity #aviation#airport#Kansai#environment#osaka
