Welp. Last day of vacay and at 8:43pm everyone ‘needed’ cookies. Whole wheat, brown sugar, freshly ground peanut butter and cinnamon. I totally support last-minute-last-day-of-vacay cookies 🍪 Random but perfect. My husband thinks I’m crazy but (🤫) he loves crazy (so, we’re good then..) ❤️ #clandestinekitchen#realfood
Work for it. No one is going to do it for you. I can provide you with the tools and the support groups, but ultimately it comes down to you. You know the saying, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink?” It’s like that. You have a need to be filled. Whether that’s a workout program, a nutrition shake, performance drinks, accountability, a business, whatever, I can help you with all of that, but if you aren’t going to make the drinks, do the workouts, or show up in the groups, I can’t make you. Just like that horse being led to the water, I can get it there, but I can’t stick it’s face in the water and force it to drink. So dig deep and figure out what it is you really want. Do you want to feel good about yourself? Do you want to be strong? Do you want to lose weight? Do you need to learn portion control? Do you want to prevent disease? Do you want to set a good example for your kids? What do you want? Get that “why” firmly set in your mind and get shit done!! You are in charge of you. If you want it bad enough you will find a way.
I’ve decided to do a mini 4 week challenge for myself. I’ve been really focused on running which is great but for the next month I really want to zone in on strength, logging those miles and nutrition. I’ve set some pretty lofty goals but for me, they are very realistic. I’ll be incorporating #BBG along with a 100 mile challenge and a couple other things. Nutrition will be key in order to get through this month. Looking forward to sharing the next four weeks with you guys!
