Today was one of those days where I just had to breathe.⠀
It was hard for me to get anything done that I had planned today and it made me so frustrated. This is when I become the most critical of myself. ⠀
I vented to a friend for a short second and she told me to stop...breathe and look around and pick 5 things that I am grateful for and keep moving forward. She also said I needed to stop putting so much pressure on myself. ⠀
Everything she said was accurate. I am too grateful to be angry..and I am too hardworking to be putting more pressure on myself. ⠀
It’s okay to stop and take a mental break. After all, I have everything I need in front of me or beside me.⠀
WOMAN CRUSH WEDNESDAY #WCW : Chloë Lubell, CNM!
Chloë started working at Central Park Midwifery in the summer of 2017 after leaving a bustling practice at Bellevue Hospital in NYC. She is passionate about providing specialized Midwifery care to people of all genders, races, and economic backgrounds.
Chloë graduated from Hampshire College with a focus on doulas, medical provider burn-out, and pregnancy care in the United States. She received her Midwifery degree from Yale School of Nursing, and moved to New York City in 2014 to start working at Bellevue Hospital. During her time there, Chloë completed a certificate course in Midwifery Model Preconception, Fertility, and Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) care for Queer and Trans communities. Following her training, she provided fertility support and IUIs through a small private practice in Brooklyn and her own blog.
Midwives believe in individualized, patient (and family) centered care. Midwives recognize that childbirth is usually a normal life process and have trust in the woman's body to achieve natural delivery. They provide personalized care and often spend more time during appointments, focus on education and prevention and allow ample time for questions and answers while supporting their patients' desires to be active participants in their own healthcare. Midwives are well trained in the healthy and "normal" and are able to recognize deviations from New York City, Midwives are independent practitioners in women's and reproductive healthcare. In addition to pregnancy care, midwives are fully trained in the full scope of women's as well as trans and nonbinary individuals' healthcare from adolescence to post-menopause. Midwives also perform routine annual reproductive exams, treat infections, discuss and prescribe contraceptive options, provide testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and much more. @themidwifeisin @centralparkmidwifery

Fighting cravings is not as hard as it seems, but I know how frustrating it can be! Try eating three meals and snack throughout the day. The key is to nourish your body with a variety of healthy nutrients! 🥒
Happy Wednesday, friends!! Here’s a little midweek reminder to JUST BREATHE and in the words of @adrienelouise “find what feels good”💕
In the past few years I have found that yoga has had a huge impact on my life. When I am stressed, sad, anxious, tired, in a bad mood, happy...yoga is what always makes me feel good. Even if I don’t practice it everyday, yoga never fails to make me feel “good”, feel more peace, feel more confidence, feel more strength, feel more like myself.
Through yoga, I have also gained a better understanding of the importance of self care and self love. When we love and take care of ourselves, we are able to better love others. I’ve learned that taking time for myself is so important. Taking good care of myself so I can take good care of the ones I love. Serving myself so that I can better serve others. •
This painting is a reminder of self love, a combination of 2 of my favorite ways to take time for myself: painting and yoga. I think these words are a beautiful reminder of just that, give love to yourself so you can give more love to others. That’s what it’s all about! 💗

On my walk today.... 😍 Look who else came walking next to me? Living in the mountains is beautiful. It connects me to nature. ⠀
When life gets busy, go outside. Get into nature. Slow down. Enjoy it. ⠀
a #preview on my new commercial for Facebook for my courses here in Marbach/Germany. The massage: a practicioner of qigong can have everything - practice in the morning, in the evening, together in a group, but also inwardly, relaxing while moving, outdoor, indoor and who wants to - in my courses. What do you think? 😶
Hier mein neuer Werbefilm im Wesentlichen für "Qigong in Marbach" auf facebook. Welche Botschaft kam bei euch an? 🙄 ⚬
