5 miles from the marathon finish line and downtown Tacoma, your private family villa awaits. Perfect amenities for pre race training and post race soaking in the tub.... Stay and play at the 35house at Chambers Bay... Marathon dates available! 💚💚💚
Do you ever think to yourself 'I have to workout asap or I'm gonna lose my shit'? That was me today 🙋♂️ It's not all bad, in fact some pretty awesome things are going on too, but all the emotions are stacking on top of one another, and they were starting to wobble.
Super organised G this morning got my gear ready to do a run-commute, and man it was bloody worth it. A nice comfortable 5k steady run along the waterfront as the sun was setting.
Mental game is feeling a bit stronger 👊🏻🙌🏻😁🏃♂️

June race is scheduled! My year is filling up pretty fast! #justkeeprunning 🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♂️
My longest run in ~ w a y y y y y ~ too long, and I did it with two toddlers and my heavy ass jogging stroller. Paused briefly after mile 4 because the boys wanted to play at the park, but we barely lasted long enough for me to take a photo mid-swing. It’s colder than it looks here in CO! ❄️
After running even 5 miles in Hawaii im drenched in sweat head to toe.. ran 12 miles while i was back in Cali for the week and this was the result!! i didnt even feel a drip of sweat on my face.. Insane🥶🥶
Glad i was able to get in a run while i was back for the weekend. Old stomping grounds never felt better😌😌👟
Running screwed, literally! Got to take my 10 little screws on their first “run” today! It was pretty exciting to finally have a starting point on the road back to running. The window to regain all that went “missing” is getting closer so my PT gave me some new exercises (I’ll show you soon!), more appointments, and then I cried. It’s not that you won’t get everything back it just gets harder (some actually don’t). I tried to make a joke that they are just going to miss me that’s why I keep getting more visits and tricks. He laughed and told me if recovering from this was a contest I’d be the winner-that was a question I asked long ago and he wouldn’t answer, maybe ‘cause I was crying today he felt it was time to just admit my awesome PT skills, haha. I could feel the plate “running”, it didn’t hurt at all. Its just a new feel to a new running me. While I was happy with today’s progress and counting forward motion as appreciation, part of me isn’t going to truly understand what I’ve been temporarily sidelined from and all I’ve missed till I’m actually running on the Earth without a machine holding 50-75% of my body weight to help me. But it’s a start and one that I’m so grateful for all that have helped me to get this far...
Finally back up to double digit miles. Longest run since Berlin in September. Definitely enjoy the longer runs kicking into the training plan as it usually takes me a few miles to get into it and always feel a greater sense of achievement when I’ve done a longer run. .
The mind has to work as hard as the legs to keep going and keep motivated!!! 11 weeks to go !!!!!! #londonmarathon#londonmarathontraining#vlm#justkeeprunning
Enjoy your Sunday 💕
The race season is finally insight. When two race numbers arrive on the same day 😀 Really looking forward to these two. Kicking off with the Thorpe Park half this Sunday and then the Vitality Big Half in March. Better get my trainers on and get training.... #justkeeprunning#halfmarathontraining#racenumbers
Just. Keep. Running. ❤️ I fell, again 🤬, but was able to pick myself up, dust myself off, and finish strong. Nothing went to plan yesterday, but that’s life. We have to adapt, have a little bit of poise and belief. 2019 races have been a little bumpy for me so far, but I’ll be back on the track in 2 weeks for the US Championships for another shot 😊 #carryon#justkeeprunning#teamnb#likeaboss#MillroseGames (pic @notafraid2fail )

Well I did it. I finally ran farther than I’ve swam. Today I ran 18 miles. I started at the Huntington Pier and ran to Seal Beach and back. ..
When I was competing in open water swimming I raced in two 25k races, once at Nationals and the other time at the World Championships. I was miserable, and both times I’m pretty sure I went a little crazy. It is so isolating being in the water that long, the only sound is the water rushing by your ears. ..
As I reached the half way point today I realized that this course is also somewhat significant for me, and fitting for it to be my longest run so far...
The first open water race I ever did was in college, it was the Seal Beach Rough water swim. We started at the HB pier and ended at the Seal Beach pier, 10 miles in total. The day I did it the water was in the mid-50s, and not only did I go a little crazy, but I was definitely hypothermic. Apparently I’m a sucker for being miserable because I went on to race in all kinds of miserable conditions! 🤷♀️
As I turned around to head back home I reminded myself that I would not be hypothermic today, so 18 miles really couldn’t be that bad. Although I ended my 15 miler with tears a couple weeks back, today I ended very tired, but oh so grateful for all the things my body can do! 📸 @hillhayesphoto
