Here's an example of a quick explosive training session. When training for explosion and rate of force development you want to make as many motor unit connections as possible as fast as possible so I only used about 50-60% of my maxes. You're also looking for extremely quality reps rather than quantity when you're trying to be the most explosive so I was working in rep ranges of 1-3. By the time I was finished with the weights I was primed for jumping and worked to a good height and distance for me. I placed my shoe right around 6ft and the box was around 50in high.
