2018 - The year I didn’t go on a summer holiday. Dedicated my life to months worth of revision and intense exams. Had no money, no car, no designer clothes or bags. I worked in shops, waitressed and even pulled pints.
It’s been difficult but all worth it in the end. I love my new job, made some great friends and met my soal mate. It’s true when they say the journey is the fun part! #2018 #year#reflection#achieve#journey#self#workhard#happy
The last few months have seen me become very interested in finding out more about my family and the people I come from. I knew my grandparents on both sides. All 4 of them shut down, unkind or abusive. I wondered what happened to them to make them that way. And what about their parents? Surely they suffered great trauma from WW1 and 2, and that tricked down to my generation. But what about the ones before them? Or the ones before them? ✨I found my great great grandparents on findagrave.com they are in a cemetery about an hour away from my house so on Tuesday we took a trip out there. They were opera singers and came from money so I expected it to be an easy task to find them. I was looking for some big monument and after half an hour of searching I had to go to the main office to ask them where they were. It turns out they are in unmarked graves side by side. ✨It was sort of sad somehow, I wondered how it had ended up that way for them. Perhaps there was not enough money in 1916 or 1930 when they passed? Was their legacy also abuse and did their kids hate them enough that they didn’t want to have them remembered by anyone? If anything this bought about more questions instead of the answers I was looking for. ✨Baby B was well tired after being in the pushchair for awhile so we had a run around and he picked some daisies. He was happy to have a play and I was happy to be able to have him share that day with me. All my research will eventually be passed onto him so it’s neat that he will one day know I took him with me, every step of the way❤️ #alifeworthliving#gentleparent#changethenarrative#healingfromtrauma#healing#healingfrcomplextrauma#dbt#dbtskills#gentleparentingjourney#ancestry#thelittlethings#journey#bpdrecovery#mentalhealthmatters#toddleradventures#makingmemories

2 years of RISEfitness 😱💪🏻⠀
I can not believe how quickly these past 2 years have gone. They have been full of amazing people, opportunities and health! 💁🏻♀️⠀
When I started RISEfitness after completing my Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification I had no idea what it would become. My first two months as a Personal Trainer did not go well and I nearly quit, but boy am I glad I did not! I have met some incredible people and had the privilege of working with those people long term. Some Personal Trainers have a high turnover of clients. But I am pleased to have been working with some of my clients for nearly the entirety of my 2 years in business. They are responsible for so much of my personal growth and I am beyond grateful for their trust in me as a Personal Trainer 🙏🏻⠀
Last Friday, me and my clients headed to Full Throttle Go Karting centre in Stourbridge to celebrate as then topped it off with a Carvery to finish 😋⠀
If there is one thing I am proud of, it is the growing community that is RISEfitness 🙌🏻
Such an amazing time to visit Iceland. Just after the greens of spring and summer fade, and just before the winter snows blanket the ground, it becomes an wonderland of browns, oranges and reds. Love it here in this season.
It’s especially visible here at the Fjaðrárgljúfur (not even gonna try to pronounce that one 😱)
“ I cAnt dO iT BecAuSe I doNt HaVe ThiS YeT” ...
“I dOnt HaVe TimE”... “I’m NotReADy”
I dOnt HaVe ThE MoNeY”
These are all excuses and statements that you believe to be true and it’s stopping you. It’s stopping you from trying to do whatever it takes to turn a dream into reality. It installs and puts fear into your thought process. I know inconveniences do occur but that’s exactly what they are INCONVENIENCES ... they don’t stop the show! You have to think of ways to go around inconveniences. A bunch of small steps turn into great distances 💪🏾
Screaming, crying, battling
With agony of mind
i moved on.
From so many ups and downs
Facing problems wasn't easy at that time, inside out no hopes were left , storms came i screamed ,no one was there , but still somehow i tried doing every possible thing that would lead me to the right direction.
Everytime i think of that time, only one question comes to my mind
Is growing that hard? Is life that harsh?
this picture reminds me that we have certain stations and checkpoints in our life , we cannot stop at one station for lifetime, we have to move on, no matter how beautiful or worse the station is, because life has to go on and on.

Thriving.. that’s a bold choice of word for me especially at this point in life where all I have been doing to myself is taking away from my light, my personality and my life. What I strive for is thriving. I want to live a life free of restrains, free of the chains that hold me back. Our minds tend to snake in the worst kinda of thoughts. The thoughts lead to actions and those actions can ruin us with time. This blog is my way of expressing myself anonymously and sharing my journey while trying to help others through their journeys as well. I have been a prisoner of anorexia and bulimia for the past 4 years with multiple attempts of recovery, but unfortunately numerous relapses. But now it stops, because a life spent obsessing about food and exercise is not a life worth living. Adventure, love and thrill is what we should aim for. Why do we even get stuck in this tornado in the first place when all it does is steal away years of your life. Now we stop the pain and start living. And all I want to do is build around a community of love and support💕 #recovery#support#eatingdisordersrecovery#thriving#eatingdisordersupport#bulima#anorexia#surviving#trying#journey#documentation#start#eatingdisorder
A wise guru said “practice and all is coming”. When I first started practicing Ashtanga yoga I heard and saw this quote everywhere. I thought it meant that if I was dedicated to the practice that I would be able to do “all” the yoga postures and become super zen. While this is one interpretation I much prefer the ones I heard discussed on the @ashtangadispatch podcast. They questioned exactly what was the “all that is coming”? Is it really just the ability to balance on your hands and put a leg behind the head? Are we also practicing with the hope that the “all that is coming” is peace, happiness, a sense of clarity and connection in our lives?
The reality? The “all that is coming” is the good and the bad, the ups and the downs, the best of times and the worst of times. As long as we are living in this human experience we are subjected to both joy and sadness, love and heartbreak, belonging and loneliness.
So why get on the mat? We do our practice to become better equipped for the “all that is coming”. We practice so that when life changes our plans we can roll with the punches. When we get on the mat we remember that no matter what happens we will always have our practice and we will always have our breath 🙏🏼

One of the best thought-provoking business books out there. zerotoone peterthiel
Our impossibly perfect ledge near 7400 meters on the rarely climbed South Face/East Ridge of Annapurna. I snapped the same image a few moments later- but my capture is not nearly as good as this image by @peterhamor. The main summit is on the rock buttress on the left- still 4km horizontal traverse away.
Be kind to one other. Stay happy and keep travelling. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

The Twelve Apostles in Australia have stood the test of time. They have sat in witness to events before recorded history, and have they have seen how man has shaped the land and the ocean around them. They’re a good reminder of how our actions have consequences and how we need to take a long term view of our planet because if we don’t, they’ll probably still be here long after we are gone.
How you see a place affects how you feel about it. Is NY a city of brown concrete, fences, cold and snow and vandalism, or of art and culture and free expression, communities and people who care? The answer is yes! #newyork is a great city because it has so many sides. Out of this diversity comes greatness.
Let your soul get lost in this paradise 💦💫
