You don’t need to know everything. You don’t have to have the degree. You don’t need to wait until you’re ready. You don’t have to have everything figured out. You don’t need to do something else first. You don’t need to have more experience. You don’t need to not do it because someone else is doing it.
All you need is to know why you are doing the thing, have deep belief in yourself & then just do it. Stop letting excuses be the reason you don’t begin. Just begin.

I’m grouchy. ⠀
Yep! I just said that on social media. 🤷🏻♀️ #realtalk ⠀
This week has sucked! ⠀
And this morning has just proved my point.. its taken me 2 hours to write this post and finally get it up.. D figured out how to pull the tacks and pictures off of our cork board, S is having all the #threenager moments today, so many things to do today... I’m just not feeling any of them and it is GLOOMY outside today. 😞 ⠀
And that’s just this morning.. the rest of theek has been a doozy too and it’s left me with no energy this week.. to be real? I’m feeling like a total 🐻 and definitely not this cute fuzzy emoji! 🤣 ⠀
But here’s what I know.. I haven’t been doing my devotional regularly. ⠀
I didn’t journal at all this week. (besides today) 🤦🏻♀️ ⠀
I’ve been eating whatever I want because for this week I decided that having a pity party was more important than staying true to my goals. ⠀
I haven’t been sleeping near enough. Which puts my mood and energy levels all out of whack. 😴 ⠀
So, knowing the problem is half the battle. ⠀
Choosing to come back from the battle is a whole OTHER level of hard.. ⠀
Choosing to start over, to start fresh. Is tough. And not something I’m very good at. ⠀
Choosing to acknowledge my weaknesses, and then to lean into Jesus knowing he is where I draw my strength from isn’t always easy either. ⠀
Knowing that tomorrow is a fresh start. ⠀
Knowing that I made a point of spending time with Jesus, and being washing in his grace and love today. Knowing that one bad week won’t make or break me. ⠀
Those are the things that give me hope and fuel my journey. 🙏🏻⠀
Those are the reasons I don’t stop. ⠀
Those are the reasons I suck it up. Show up. And lace up. ⠀
Because I know that I can do immeasurably more than I’ve ever imagined with God on my side. ❤️ ⠀
Breathing is something you do automatically and until recently it wasn’t really something I thought about a great deal. In my blog posts, I want to bring tangible solutions to some of the big problems people face and, as ever, stress is on the agenda.
Stress is the cause of so much mental suffering and one cause of depression, illness, and pain.
It is important to recognize how your breathing can be influencing your emotional state.
Everyone should become aware of their breath and its possible range. You can achieve empowerment by knowing how to utilize your breath to manage your emotions.[MORE]
Vent Vent Vent .... Daily Journal writing is another good way to vent privately.. Bottling up negativity will only manifest itself into your life as negative energy.
Write that stuff down, tear it up and/or burn it and imagine that negativity being dissolved as you do so.
Anger and resentment will not serve you well so write it down and let it go.
It's been so long since I've posted...or planned...or arted (is that a word? 🤔)...or even journaled. Even though I still follow all the inspiration here, I've fallen off the wagon myself. Blame it on Life and the unexpected twists and turns that hit us. But no more, it is time to get myself together and start again. And today...it's a good a day as any to start!
Journal?! Umm what? No thanks.⠀
At first I thought the idea of journaling was weird. I mean I used to keep a diary and used to write music, but journal? Really?⠀
But I wanted to give it a try because people were raving about it!⠀
When I first started journaling I had no idea what I was doing, I was just writing down what I felt but didn’t really feel a difference.⠀
It felt like a mini vent session 😂 and then I just moved on to the next thing.⠀
When I finally learned what to do and how to do it, things started to shift!⠀
I learned that my writing needed structure in order to resolve an issue, solve a problem or create an outcome.⠀
The things I had written down became reality and I felt a difference!⠀
I felt more positive and productive.⠀
I felt accomplished.⠀
I felt confident.⠀
I probably said this out loud no joke, “THIS IS WHAT JOURNALING IS ALL ABOUT” 🙌🏽 you know those moments you realize you just had an epiphany or breakthrough and jump for joy or yell out loud, “I got it” lol yeah that was me😂⠀
I’m not talking about writing down how you feel, I’m talking about writing to take action.⠀
Writing with a purpose.⠀
One thing I know and teach is the more you write down what you want, why you want it and how it’ll make you feel, the more you’ll take action and the more it becomes your reality.⠀
There’s different ways to journal, but this is what has helped me really get clear about what I want and how I’ll get there.⠀
Your mind is stronger than you think and capable of so much more!⠀
If you’re just going through the motions day in and day out without stopping to check in with yourself or challenge yourself, what are you living for? 🤔⠀
Do you journal?⠀
Share below 1 thing you like to journal about 👇🏼💕
Working on my 30 Day “I Am Challenge” given to me by my business coach.
It you’re interested in doing this for yourself, here’s how it works:
Write 3 positive “I Am” statements about yourself every day for the next 30 days so by the end of the month you have 90 different “I am” statements about yourself. 😍
It’s not easy! We are often too hard on ourselves and usually our self-talk and mindset is the number one roadblock stopping us from reaching our goals. 🌈
So I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and commit to 30 days of positive “I am” statements. You’ll be surprised what you come up with. 🤩
Then look at those statements on a regular basis, especially if self-doubt starts creeping in, to remind yourself of the fun, witty, savvy, smart, confident, caring, powerhouse you are!
Best todo list this entire summer. As I waited to interview I wrote positive things about me. Then I wrote my goal. I walked in that interview knowing what I have to offer and left with a signed contract. I’m so grateful for new opportunities. I left a job making very little money and into a workplace that appreciates and values my time and effort in education for more than 10 years. My experiences good and bad brought me to where I am and I’m thankful for all of it. Have a great Sunday!!!! .
Is it time to post my monthly yet??
I haven’t polished it much but I like it anyway. Even if I never know how to fill it neither at the beginning nor dying the month. I mostly forget about it or something??
Also, billions of huge thanks bout every of your words on my last post. I can’t tell you how heartwarming it was. I’ll do another soon perhaps, but I’ll start by listing some life updates?
- Things at work are going really fine. You prob saw in my stories that I was applying during June and finally got and started something July, 2nd. It just feels nice to have stability somehow, even if I’m still trying to manage working full time and being able to do all I want to do
- Another nice point about that job is that I started meeting really nice people and it’s probably not much for a lot of people but even at 24, I still am building my social skills and all. It’s like it’s even harder to make friends as adults??
- Ugh it’s the weekend and I’ve only been talking bout work, what is going on?? But yeah I told you I won’t always say the deepest, wisest stuff and I’d like to not pressure myself? Ok I’m going to lazy around a bit
Have a nice weekend world 🌻
I grew up in a magical place. It was a land of large fields, quiet coastlines, and deserted beaches. Like most magical places, it was discovered by the rest of the world and now barely resembles what I remember. There are congested subdivisions, major highways, and people...lots and lots of people.
Fortunately, there are a few places left where cars can’t go. With so many tiny islands dotting the Currituck Sound, there are still secret spots, hideaways. Today, we beached the boat in one of these uninhabited, magical places and spent the day playing and exploring. I brought my journal and jotted down a few memories, and some hopes and prayers that these places will remain the same for many more years to come.

We as human beings are responsible for our own lives. Our behavior is a function of our decisions, not our conditions. If you want to go places in your life, you will get farther and faster if you aren’t waiting for people to take you there. In order to be effective at whatever you choose, it is imperative that you take complete responsibility for your results and use discipline to create the life you desire. More often than not we limit ourselves to what we know and focus on. Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Accept responsibly for your life and rise to the challenges in front of you. [MORE] #onebreathglobal#driving#life
(ok here goes nothing)
⏯ do as I said in my story, I’m very unsure about what I’m posting rn. And being self conscious and relating personal stuff isn’t the best match. But since I’ve always wanted to make this account more human and less “all perfect and neat” I thought why not!
Do me a huge favor and tell me what you think : - about the message
- about this kind of non bujo posts
YAS! Never stop reaching for your goals, dreaming big, planting seeds and working to create the life you want. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I start each day journaling the things I'm grateful for, because I know I cannot manifest more things to be grateful for if I don't first acknowledge, every single day, the things I have in my life for which I am grateful right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After I write down all the things I cherish in my life, I set intentions for myself for the day and how I envision feeling as I move through my day...This helps me stay PRESENT each moment of the day ahead.
Then, I spend a few minutes setting intentions for things I want to accomplish and manifest in the future so I have a roadmap for my desires and goals. I've seen countless dreams come to fruition since I incorporated this daily ritual into my life and I encourage you to give it a try. You'll find that you'll be amazed at what you manifest into your life when you pray for it, focus on it, and do tangible things to make them a reality. Check out Lezlie Laws TIA method journal to get started, it was the perfect starting point for me!
I'll leave you with one of my all-time favorite quotes! I have this gem posted in my office, in my car and in my heart: “Don't be afraid of the space between your dreams and reality. If you can dream it, you can make it so.” ― Belva Davis
Happy Tuesday everyone.
More than we’d probably like to admit so many of our days are spent in a state of self-delusion, making excuses, justifying our actions, both good and bad. Self-awareness is about paying attention and being honest with yourself. It’s about focusing on the reality of your behaviour and not the story you tell yourself about yourself. It involves understanding your shortcomings, observing your own contributions or lack thereof, and being present and confident in who you really are. [MORE]
Feeling mounds of confidence underneath my feet.
My joy is not dependent upon my situation. There is so much freedom in letting go and recognizing that some things are beyond our control. We follow this recognition by being faithful and obedient in whatever situation we are in. As a friend shared with me recently, “Our trigger is when we are not getting what we want and then we do what we we can to feel in control.”
How many of us are brave enough to confess this flaw?
Everyday I’m learning. .

Hello strangers 🖐🏼
Hoping y’all spent a nice weekend?
Now apparently I’m doing cover pages so well, here’s august! Might seem a bit empty like that but I don’t mind. I’ll see if I’ll add something or not. What do you think?
Also I’m still trying to find a way to reinsert a posting schedule into present life and I’m thiiiis close to find a golden mean. Other than that, life is good. I’m less weird, I’m spending time with awesome people and go out more. I like my job. Can’t ask for more! (well in fact I’d like an olive tree cause my dad cut my mom’s tree and she freaked out and is v v sad so pls help)

Being yourself and sticking to what you believe in and makes you and others happy is the best feeling ever!! 🌟👌💪
Would it be valuable to you to discover the structure of your thoughts? To get an image of your values, beliefs, and the unconscious programs that control your behavior? What if there was a way to get a glimpse into the internal composition of your mind, would that be interesting to you?
It’s certainly something that’s interesting to me. And if you’re like me and interested too, I have some good news and some bad news. [More] .
I didn’t realize the second half never uploaded 🤦🏻♀️ here’s the second half of July!

Starting this new month with my favorite page of July 🌞
You might have seen that ideas around where you write one line a day and I wanted to try so much. Now that I see it completed, I’m even happier I did!
To make it : draw the outline of a normal calendar and everyday, fill your square and you’re good 🤚🏼
Also you’ll see many people say this around but I. Cannot. Believe. It’s already August?! The thing is, with this spread and several others (even if I’ve seldom posted here) I felt more mindful of my days and what I did. I can almost remember what I did each day. (Whereas before, if I don’t have clues somewhere in my phone or in my journal, I can barely remember this or that day existed)
Conclusion : ill definitely make this spread again this month. Who’s in?
I’m beyond in love with this leather. If anyone has a pocket in this beautiful leather that they’ve not bonded with, please let me know. I actually need it 😅

I often hear people talking about past times and events, reminiscing about ‘good times’. Often people remember events more fondly in hindsight than they actually experienced it at the time. People seem to find it easier to feel positive emotions in retrospect. One of the main reasons for this this is focus and attention. [MORE]

Good morning! Finally getting back into the swing of non-vacation life. I'm hoping to get my travel journal caught up this weekend. Plus some bible journaling! Hope you are having a good week!

After way too many breaks, I made it to the end of this spread aha. Becky @bujowithbecky is the big inspiration of this spread, and I would have gladly copied hers entirely but even that way I wouldn’t live up to her awesomeness! 🌻
But that was such a fun spread to do, I can only recommend it in your monthly planning!
Q : having drafted all my May pages, I was considering filming it though I’m not sure. Would you rather see the spreads in the making in a live or in a YouTube video?
