Day 8–9 / Dazaifu / 6/6 // As last picture from this two day visit to Dazaifu, I’d like to share this shot from Dazaifu Tenman-gū Omotesandō, the pedestrian way leading from the Dazaifu Station to Dazaifu Tenman-gū. In early evening when most of the shops close, the path becomes wonderfully calm and tranquil. All the fuzziness is gone and I left wondering how it must be to stay in this beautiful city instead of heading back to my hostel in nearby Fukuoka.
the lucky places we get to go when we book Airbnb. this was a super fun place to stay. we booked in and it was a older ryokan renovated with a young spin on it. the owner was a cool dude and quit his day job to open a ryokan.
check it out!
we had a good time. did a local brewery tour. Tamamura Honten Shigakogen Beer. SO good and just a lucky find! we had a fun adventure and couple days exploring. snow monkeys in the summer Onsen. checking out the Onsen ourselves. making friends. attending a community summer festival. drinking home brewed sake.
Day 8–9 / Dazaifu / 5/6 // Along the way capturing the sightseeing spots of Dazaifu, I also followed what my eye was drawn to. Like this traffic mirror capturing the evening light as well as the same color shades as the house and wall it stood in front of.
