@sugoijpn has done exactly that and created a fusion of the best of Japanese and Latin traditions, culture and flavours to get a new street food concept.
Some of the delicious flavours include Sake (with salmon, salmon roe, lime marinated avocado and sesame seeds), Loco (with tuna, jalapeño, chives and coriander) and Tropical (with mango, tuna, salmon, and masago). They also have delicious sides, including takoyaki (ball shaped octopus snack), yuca fries (cassava fries with shichimi togarashi) and my favourite, bocaditos (fried tempura salmon fingers). What makes the food even more special is the lovely couple behind the concept and the food. @sugoijpn is available on Deliveroo, in Bethnal Green and will soon be @oldspitalfieldsmarket 🌮🍣
OKONOMI-NOT-SO-YAKI ~ okay so I attempted to make okonomiyaki for the first time and even though I didn’t have many of the correct traditional ingredients, I think it turned out so well! I’m super happy with it! This one was also Vegetarian & Gluten Free 😄 What other cultural foods shall I attempt to make... 🤔
