Tattoo # 16 (17). The triple spiral or triskele. Maddie and I got tattoos while in Killarney . Killarney was my favorite place in Ireland actually. So, the triple spiral represents the Mother/Matron/Crone or life/death/rebirth or past/present/future.

Always remember to pack a lunchtime snack when climbing the Skelligs (watch with sound- here is the original for reference https://youtu.be/nfsG-ZXyjeA)
I was worried my Mediterranean tan would fade in the Irish sun, so i decided to catch some REY's on Skellig Michael.
The island was covered in fog in the morning, the puffins all migrated away 2 weeks ago, but I was extremely lucky just to land on the island because many daily tours (as many as 30%) are cancelled if weather conditions prove too dangerous for landing or climbing the rock.
Up until the 12th century, monks thought this lush green island off the coast of Ireland was the edge of the world - and hence closer to God. So they built temples and monasteries on top of the island, and soon the skelligs became a common pilgrimage site.

Over 150 beech trees make up the majestic “Dark Hedges” of Northern Ireland and were planted all the way back in 1775 🇮🇪 Later we walked “The Giant’s Causeway” where Irish legend tells that the giant Finn MacCool built a causeway across to Scotland to challenge the giant Benandonner in battle.⚔️ Legend goes on to say MacCool tricked Benandonner to retreat in defeat and destroyed the bridge in his escape. Today, directly opposite in Scotland 🏴 the other side of the basalt lava bridge can be found.
I’ve only just realised that these castle 🏰 ruins were used as another filming 🎞 location for the movie 🎥 Braveheart. That was always one of my favourites as a child.
Happy Friday lovelies, wishing you all a great day! 🤗
