Nearly as big as me

🌍What was your best travel experience, last time you have been traveling?🌏
Cobh, a colourful port village on the south coast of Ireland

Cobh (pronounced "Cove"), originally named Queenstown, is situated on Great Island in Cork Harbour (Cuan Chorcaí), the second largest natural harbor in the world, on the south coast of Ireland.
First called "Cove" ("The Cove of Cork") in 1750, it was renamed by the British as "Queenstown" in 1849 to commemorate a visit by Queen Victoria.
One of the major transatlantic Irish ports, Cobh was the departure point for 2.5 million of the six million Irish people who emigrated to North America between 1848 and 1950.
On 11 April 1912, as Queenstown, it was the final port of call for the RMS Titanic before she set out across the Atlantic on the last leg of her maiden voyage. A poignant museum, the Titanic Memorial Garden, commemorates the fatal voyage's point of departure.
One of the most picturesque towns in Ireland, this charming waterfront town on a glittering estuary is dotted with brightly coloured houses and overlooked by a splendid cathedral.
Cork’s harbour town of Cobh has been named one of the 25 most beautiful small towns in Europe by the international travel bible Condé Nast Traveler.
The brightly painted houses on steeply rising streets are a signature of the town. One street is often referred to as the Deck of Cards, for its series of 23 painted houses on Bandon Hill, overlooking the town.
