Is this not the most beautiful fall tablescape by @casadeperrin? I love when people go a different direction than the norm. Absolutely beautiful.

These two beautiful wooden boxes from Zara Home where on my to-shop-list. I paniced a little when I couldn't find them in the store but found them later at the sale corner. Lucky me!
For now I just placed them under the table. Speaking of wich, we still need to buy a new table but I don't seem to find one that will fit in our livingroom. In the meantime we're using this one untill we find something else.
Drum roll please..It is National Boss’ Day today and I think we should chat about it. The reality is (just like many of you out there) I’m my own boss, my own educator, secretary, errand runner, financial planner, real estate agent, trainer, nutritionist, cook and cheerleader. Sounds overwhelming or even self congratulatory? Too bad, because it’s not and I love every freaking part of it. Why, you ask? Cause it fires me up and I get to wear all the hats I want without having anyone tell me what to do and how to live my own life 🎩 👑 🧢 .
Some days though, when I’m feeling off balance, down and too hard on myself for taking longer to progress in my career and life, I catch myself overlooking all these qualities by not giving myself enough credit for all the hard work I put in. Today, I am going to do the complete opposite, because I was just reminded that I am indeed the boss of my own life.
So, with that in mind and because I love me any reason to celebrate, I’m using this as an opportunity to celebrate something grand that Joe and I accomplished together and that is🥁🥁🥁...the purchase of our FIRST HOME 🏡 🤭😮 Say what?
HA! I know! It probably isn’t news to many of you guys at this point, but it just so happens to be its’ one year anniversary, so here it goes! It feels like yesterday but it was a year ago when Joe and I officially became home owners. Best part? It all went down on Friday the 13th in Salem MA. Like what? Literally right before Halloween! How crazy is that?
As you can imagine, that day we were both on cloud 9. Overflown with many emotions: nervousness, excitement, joy, gratitude, pride... pretty much every freaking emotion rolled into one! And now, as I look back a year later, I still wonder how the hell we both made it all happen! Like what on earth were we thinking... in other words this journey was one for the record books. I sh!t you not! Like I thought buying a home in Massachusetts would be something out of reach but here we are and this is how we did it:
1)We set a goal 🔑
2)Made a plan 🔑
3)Took action 🔑 and with a lot of hard work and dedication, we finally got what we wanted 🤘🏼
Anyone else skip Halloween decor this year? 🙋🏼♀️ Currently obsessed with this color for fall decor that’ll sadly last for about a month before CHRISTMAS DECOR TAKES OVER HAPPILY 💙 #Designecologist#MyHomeSense
Big day of styling ahead with TWO installs happening! Be sure to check out stories for a peak behind the scenes! Also loving the response from everyone on the #psprintshoppe , thank you! This watercolor is a favorite and has been the perfect styling accent in a handful of our projects! 📸 @vlentine
