Anyone else really hard on themselves? This girl right here is guilty! I am far from where I began, but I have started to be better about. I used to worry what people thought of me, whether I said the right thing, whether I was too overwhelming, whether I shouldn’t have mentioned that, etc.
I am doing the best that I can, and that is what matters. Never let others put you down. If they don’t understand why you do what you do, then buh bye. This was such a hard thing for me to understand for the longest time.
Cut the garbage...you will feel better if you have people accept you flaws and all. Peace will ensue with this change.

Medal Monday 🏅🏅 Yesterday’s half marathon was my 32nd half. Sometimes I’m in complete awe. Running has taught me so much. Running has taught me how to achieve a natural high, it has taught me pride, perseverance and patience. Running is such a tricky thing. One day you can feel phenomenal and you’re on top of the world, and other days you have those runs that just suck and you sit there and contemplate how the F you ever ran 26.2 miles - at once 😂🤣 For many reasons yesterdays half was my last hurrah. I am going to cut back on running for some personal and health reasons. The top of my foot is in a lot of pain from rolling my ankle yesterday as well. I am hoping taking it easy today & a rest day tomorrow will help🙏🏼 It is really hard to stop doing something that you truly love, but with this past marathon training I cut my running to just 3 days a week and that was probably the smartest thing I ever did! I still have a few more races left of the year- short ones- pending this injury....but I can tell you this, don’t sacrifice something that truly fills you and has changed and shaped your life. Put in the work, stay committed and you will achieve your goals- whether they be in running or in life! Who else ran this weekend?! Show off your medals 🏅 #run#medalmonday#runnergirl#runneraddict#iloverunning#madisonhalf@jbsportsevents#runchat#runhappy#runallthemiles#runlikeagirl#runninggoals#teamnuun#runnercommunity#igrunners#instarunners
The intention: 6 miles @ GMP. The reality: 6 miles @ 26 seconds faster per mile than GMP.
I started too fast, and I spent the whole run trying to slow down. I mean, yeah, it’s possible I’m in better shape than I thought, but my bigger concern is that I’m going to go out way too fast at CIM, blow up early, and ruin my race.
Bloody love our amazing clients!
Here they are having just smashed a bunch of 400, 300 and 200m repeats at our weekly #GTRunClub 🏃♂️🏃♀️

Finally the days are getting longer, and the temperature is getting higher. New season = new running clothes needed. I don’t know why but I always feel like wearing white when it’s hot and sunny. Currently in love with my @lululemonausnz#summertech seamless leggings. Feels like I’m wearing nothing 😉
Few more sleeps until the Bangkok marathon. About a time to start carb loading. That’s the most difficult part for me 🙈

@Kobebryant with an important lesson on footwork. As he says, basketball is like a game of chess - each move sets you up for the next.

Just like how the ocean’s tide gets stronger with every barrier & storm that it encounters, obstacles should not stop you...they are reasons why you should fight on with more might.

Let’s talk about comfort zones for a minute🤓 I “raced” my first 5k in almost 4 years this past weekend. Since the last time I “raced” a 5k, I’ve run a 50k, multiple marathons, half marathons, 10 milers... and... ZERO 5k’s👀🤔 Why? Because 5k’s scare the 💩 out of me! @run4prs.coachskelly told me it’s because they are out of my comfort zone. He couldn’t be more right!! Running so hard your lungs feel like they are going to explode and you might throw up at any minute and continuing this for 25+ MINUTES?!?!😳 Yep, that’s WAY out of my comfort zone!!😬 But with a little encouragement from Coach Skelly and a little kick in the butt from @brittanylfarrell and @martin_rodriguez_knownasdiddy I faced my fears and it felt amazing!!!🤸♀️(once it was over😜) Stepping out of our comfort zones builds confidence and strength, AND it’s actually really freaking fun!!!🎉 There’s a whole lot of really great stuff just past the edge of our comfort zones🙌💃 Anyhoo, enough rambling. 5 recovery miles and strength training on this lovely fall Monday🍁 Enjoy the heck out of today guys!😘🤗🏃♀️

Tag someone you wanna inspire 🔛 Get your photos posted in our account, apply for a feature visiting worlderunners.com 👉🏼the link is in our bio: @worlderunners. 🙌🏼 I think everyone has heard the expression "keep moving forward". I mentally repeat this phrase several times during the races. It means "keep moving forward."
But this "moving forward" can have other meanings. It may be to move on and leave behind old habits, prejudices, negative things, a vicious cycle. Or move on to new goals, new challenges, a new life.
The important thing is to move on, and bring with you people who will help you to discover these new destinations. People that put you up, because down we know how to go it alone.
So today's message is "keep moving forward," and transform along the way, adapt, reinvent yourself. And most of all, be happy !!! I’m going to train because @im703maceio is knocking on the door. (📷: @diogoferreirafit) Follow @worlderunners for more.
