When I was young, I’d pray about even the simplest things and God would hear me and answer.
It was raining one day, my family and I were in Walmart, and we didn’t have an umbrella. I didn’t want any of us to get wet, so my child self prayed to God in Heaven asking him to stop the rain so we could make it to the car dry, and HE DID. Right when I prayed, the rain stopped. Our God cares about even the littlest things concerning us. He even listen to the littlest ones who pray, because where faith is present, miracles are as well. ❤️

This week’s #whentojump podcast guest is a fellow classmate of Mike’s and a first-year MBA student at Stanford. Prior to grad school, Greg Rose, a New York City native, worked at Blue Apron and McKinsey & Company where he was a consultant and analyst. In the midst of his professional career, he decided to take his first jump toward exploring his passions for travel and cooking. For a short period of time, Greg worked at a family-owned hotel in Mallorca, Spain and that was where the idea of building a career around travel and food first found its way to Greg’s heart. By asking himself what felt fun and fulfilling before paying the bills and before the worry of responsibility Greg was able to take the risk of leaving behind expectations of his professional career and follow his passions. Following his studies at Stanford, he hopes to make an impact in the hospitality industry by making affordable, high-quality travel experiences more accessible to middle-class consumers. Tune in tomorrow to hear more about Greg’s desire to share his passion for travel with the world and his plans after business school. People often ask me how to figure out their purpose in life or how do you do what you love if you aren’t sure what that is? My answer is you have many different purposes and figuring out what you love is an evolving process. If you can’t decide where to start, start helping other people and you’ll be sure to figure out the answers to those questions. If you look at great companies and people they all focus on what they can do for others. Thank you Martin Luther King ❤️🙌🏽
Martin Luther King, Jr. was the man. He knew what was up and he didn’t let fear stand in the way of his purpose. Don’t cheat yourself by not serving and contributing to the betterment of the human race. ❤️ Rest In Peace MLK. I can’t imagine living in a world where you decided it was too difficult to keep moving forward on your mission. ✌️✌🏻✌🏿✌🏽✌🏼✌🏾
