Now that you have seen Tso-Pangong during night in my previous post , now witness how it looks during sometime in the day. It keeps changing its colour throughout the day due to the long stretch of blue water ,surrounded by yellowish orange hills, topped by an azure sky and biting cold air.
The water which is always crystal clear looks blue or green or orange , depending on daylight, it’s intensity and reflection, the small vegetation and algae in between boulders, the shadow of the hills and the distance from which you are viewing the water body.
A bike ride to India's last village (Mana village) passes through some of the most breathtaking, challenging and awe-inspiring landscapes found on this planet. This was the ultimate motorcycle experience in the Himalayas.. You can witness many amazing places in between like Rishikesh,Devpryag (where two different colored river alaknanda and bhagirathi meets and form ganga), Chamoli, Joshimath and Badrinath.. Etc But by any means it is not an easy ride since most parts of the road are at high altitude and damaged by landslides.. This was one of my dream ride which I completed successfully. #traveller #rider

Exactly the place we are standing is India China Border. Those are the mountains of China. India China friendship meet takes place here.
Feeding our hungry stomach with hot samosa and pakoras at Army Canteen 😋
Khab - is a small village in NH 505 - Nako to Pooh Road , Himachal Pradesh, India , near the India-China border. a height of about 8000 ft.
It is basically the confluence of the rivers Spiti and Satluj. The whole village is surrounded by huge mesmerizing mountains.
You can see the muddy waters of Sutlej gracefully accepting and conqering the turquoise blue water from Spiti. You can spot the tunnel like road a few meters above the blue Spiti , it's an amazing and breathtaking drive 😍
NB: There is no holdup in travelling between Nako and Pooh , @eppyshafeer
Things are quite different here at 14140 Feet above sea level. This pass was part of the old silk route. Couldn't help but think how people travelled without cars back then!
China has also agreed to let Indian pilgrims pass through to Mount Kailash also known as the mythical Mount Meru which is believed to be 30 million years old.Until now travellers had to go via Nepal which took significant amount of time.Thank you China and thanks to the diplomacy of our current Government.
Ps: we saw three ladies pass out right infront of us because of the altitude so wouldn't advice this place if you have any heart condition or if you're a fatty 😬
