12K on the mill yesterday because I was alone with the kids and couldn’t get out. Not the fastest of runs but definitely mental training to stay on it for more than an hour. 😳Besides, threadmill Ks count double, right? 💪🏻

I gathered the bib today and got this pre-race-feel: like wow, on Saturday we rock! 🏃♂️🤗 But there’s still unclear whether I can start or not (due to throat and cold symptoms) 😩 I hope and pray, fight Markus! 👏
The race is Asics Premiere Run, 10 km seeding to Stockholm Marathon.
There’s no crying in running until after you cross the finish line 😅
If you thought my #throwbackthursday would've been anything else but Shamrock you must've thought I came off my marathon high pretty quick. One day I'll land an epic finisher photo (seriously how do some of you have such great race photos?!) but until then I'll take all the raw, in the moment ones. Shoutout to my girl @susiebossk for pacing me the first half and soaking up all my over emotional happy tears on your finishers towel 🙃

Best/longest run in a long time! Months of severe nerve pain followed with a bout of cellulitis kept me out of the running, exercise, and even at times life loop for 7 months.
Injuries and/or failures are simply opportunities to reassess our path and readjust where necessary. I’ve learned that stretching and strength building are MUSTS and now put more emphasis on those than running.

Took the last couple days off as I just felt off. Tuesday I woke up and felt fine then when I got out of bed I couldn’t catch my balance If that makes any sense. Literally stumbled to the floor. Got up, walked to the kids room to get them up and fell Into their dresser. Rest of the day I had to take it super easy and not move my head to fast otherwise it would happen again and I just felt nauseous. So weird and I have no idea why!🤷♀️it was the weirdest thing. I was kinda nervous to run yesterday so I didn’t but today felt good! •
I took a job yesterday which means on work
Days I’ll have to do my runs before work... or at night after kids go to bed... I’ve literally set my alarm every other day to get up and run and have turned it off every time. So will be interesting. But maybe now that I don’t have the option of doing it during the day will help?? With any luck! Love my kiddos but am so EXCITED to have the BREAK from them a couple days a week. I have no doubt I’ll be a better mom cause of it! No the sun does not shine out of my arse 24/7 lol. If you think there is a mom out there where it does... they have you fooled. Or if it really does then they should write a book and make millions! Anyways! Excited for this new chapter for me! Happy running!!

5 late afternoon miles and LOVED each one of them! Kicking off a recovery week for marathon training and I'm gonna soak up EVERY easy run this week! I am definitely feeling in need of some low key running for a week.
