Day #15... although I had no intention of posting my weight, I think it will hold me much more accountable. So... I was just over 145 at my heaviest. Being only 5’ tall (& considering I only weighed 121 pregnant)... that’s just not acceptable. I was told I had high cholesterol at my last doctors appt in November. I was told to not have too much fast food and work out more!! So here I am... New Years’ resolution... BE A BETTER ME!! Plus I know weighing less and the workouts I’m doing are good to strengthen my core... more importantly, my back!! As of today... 15 days in AND almost 10 pounds down!! A good weight for my height is 128 (according to the doctor). My goal for myself is to get between 120 & 125 by April AND then maintain it!
Day #15 done!
I missed breakfast I was so exhausted when I got home from working 3rd. I just crashed. Woke up late. This is my first meal of the day. #chicken#greenbeans straight out freezer and heated up! #lilplateproject#vsg#vsginstacrew I’m a lil bummed that I didn’t get my water goal in yesterday. I’m got 2 and a bit hours to get it in today. Still have 1.5 liters to go! #igotthis !!!

Love waking up wit the pup snuggled up against me ❤️
Our babies whether they have fur or are human teach us important life lessons.
Love is unconditional. They are always there no matter what you are going through; always ready to brighten up even your darkest days.
You never have to beg for their attention ... however, when they have to beg for yours, it’s time you start reprioritizing your time; maybe even rethinking what’s important in your life.
Lately I’ve been thinking about what’s important in my life ... how is it that when something feels so right .. yet you aren’t getting what you deserve from it?
So I discovered that an old friend blocked me on Instagram.
The last I heard, she was removing people who she thought were promoting things she didn’t like.
And then poof. I’m blocked. 🤷🏻♀️
I fully support removing people from your feed who cause you negativity. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
I also stand by what I promote in life.
Here’s what I want for myself (and for you, too):
⚡️ ENERGY. I used to spend my nights and weekends exhausted, crashed on the couch with a bottle of wine.
Life is so much better when you can say “yes” to events — or simply carry the groceries in without getting winded!
❤️ POSITIVITY. I used to spend so many days frustrated or stressed. I was on medication for anxiety attacks.
Now, I’ve developed habits that make it easier for me to seek out the millions of good things in our lives.
💕 CONFIDENCE. Maybe this is better phrased as self kindness?
I used to look down in the shower and hate what I saw. I used to spiral into tears, thinking no one liked me — instead of being empathetic and kind to myself.
🔥 WHAT STARTED MY CHANGE?
It started with a simple challenge — 30-minute workouts + simple nutrition for 21 days, along with a community who was in it together.
Now I coach other women through these challenges, too.
