Fantastic #yelpdetroit event at Crispelli's in West Bloomfield tonight. We were treated to salad, drinks, pizza, and cannoli, and we got to make our own pizzas, starting with rolling out the dough! My pizza was delicious, too, though I MAY have gone a little heavy on the garlic. 🤷🏻♀️🍕
I got to check out the new Brome in Detroit today and try a ton of menu items. This has always been one of my favorites: the Wild Mushroom burger, with mushrooms, Swiss cheese, arugula, onion, and a mustard grain aioli. 😋
Make sure to check out my Insta story for more pics, including some monthly features from @bromemoderneatery. Thanks @zipkick for the event invite, too!

The Ann Arbor Railroad (“the Annie”) ran from Toledo, OH to Frankfort, MI from 1895-1976. In Frankfort, freights were carried across Lake Michigan to deliver cargo, mainly lumber, to various ports in Wisconsin. Pictured here is the Ann Arbor Railroad Turntable in Elberta, MI. #themoreyouknow

Gray skies, rolling hills, and pastoral scenes in the U.P.
A friend and I got to play at being chefs tonight at the @realhomechef and @krogerco influencer event! Kroger has now partnered with Home Chef to bring easy 20-minute meals to their stores, with two servings in each box and prices ranging from $16-18.99. We cooked the chicken fajita meal and it was delicious - I especially liked that all the veggies were already chopped for us. 👍🏻🐓

✨Oh hey weekend, where did fall go? At least I got here in time to enjoy 2 weeks of mild temps and pretty leaves. The first snow fell today and supposedly there’s more on the way 🙈 Anyone else get snow yet? #winteriscoming#marquettemichigan

There is snow on the ground, but Fall lives on via photography. Here’s one from the U.P. last month.
