I’m starting over again...
Having recently moved to London, I’m struggling to find time to shoot I have lost touch with ideas and creativity. So I am starting over again in the hope that this will fuel more ideas and help me work out the photography that I want to be doing.
Protecting our endangered animals, our forests and trees, our birds and butterflies take a LOT of effort and a TON of sacrifice from people like this guy.
He has spent the last 16 years of his life inside this forest, ensuring that none of the forest natives have any trouble under his watch. He lives far away from his family, in the depths of the jungle, pitching tents in different spots everyday.
He tells us that cities scare him, the look on people's faces as he walks by, the feeling that everyone is staring at him. In the jungle, he says, he is free of any attention. .
A trained anti poaching ranger, he tells us stories of running into poachers, prides of lions, charging elephants, and chasing cheetahs. Yet, inspite of all the risk, he continues to protect our ecosystem on our behalf inspite of the average pay and non existent social life. Today, I bow to them!
With the rising of the sun, a magical beast appeared. The sun is setting on the survival of this species. Lions have vanished from 26 countries where 200,000 use to roam. Less than 20,000 remain due to the lion bone trade, hunting, and habitat loss.
