Thank you @pixibeauty for sending the new glow collection. This new collection has:
1. Cleanser: Glow Tonic cleanser gel.
2. Toner: Glow Tonic.
3. Serum: Glow Tonic Serum.
4. Moisturiser: pHenomenal gel.
5. Moisturiser Stick: On-the-glow multi use moisture stick.
Tried the Glow tonic last night, First Impression:
• Didn’t dry out my skin nor hydrate it, but made my skin glow.
• Removed the dirt which even my cleanser wasn’t able to remove.
There’s a reason why Pixi Glow Tonic is cult favourite and now I know why! It worked well on my dry skin too which most of the toners leave my skin so dehydrated and lifeless, would definitely recommend it to everyone.
I am so excited to try out other products. ☺️ .
Tell me your favourite Pixi product.
The Jordan 1 Light Bone NYC to Paris is set to launch on May 25th at 10 am EST via a LEO drop (3min raffle) on SNKRS US and at 9 am CEST via SNKRS EU as well as via selected retailers.
May is full of high-profile sneaker releases and the mix between Jordan and Nike SB is a highly appealing one as we can see on the Lakers colourway.
Jordan Brand has once again paid homage to skate culture, creating the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 in a new 'NYC to Paris' iteration.
These AJ1s feature a NYC colour of grey, white and black but over time the shoe reveals the Paris look, where pink details become visible.
As I outlined in the previous Jordan 1 analysis, Nike began placing a significantly increased emphasis on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG silhouette, making them available for the masses, which certainly affects resell negatively.
Nowadays, only special Jordan 1's are really profitable and not so exclusive ones are only profitable in selected sizes.
Unluckily, this is the case for this colourway and you can only expect a profit on a couple of sizes.
Since it is a Jordan 1, small sizes will perform best, and I won't recommend going for bigger sizes since they are hard to flip and likely to brick.
Your best bet for resell will be all sizes smaller than US 8 and since there is comparably low demand for this sneaker I strongly suggest selling asap.
Additionally, I recommend calling your local skate shops to ask if they get a few pairs of them.
POST DROP ANALYSIS ⠀
We’ve got to start with the most hyped item of the week, the Nike sweater. Irrespective of the simple design, Nike don’t produce knit sweaters and for a lot of people that ‘designer’ look warranted spending significant resale to secure the sweater. The big reason however why this performed and the Nike crewneck from last season (both equally popular) didn’t really, is stock. Crewnecks fall into the category of hoodies and they are one of the highest produced garments for Supreme whereas sweaters are far more limited. Even if people had disliked the design, there was always going to be resale on an item that limited. The negative is that it doesn’t give manual online users a lot of chance to benefit from the resale. The white colourway (like my prediction forecasted) was going to do significantly better than purple and black ($60/£40) so that even if manual users were able to cop the less hyped colourways, they didn’t really get to make the most out of the sweaters. ⠀
The Patchwork Quilted Jacket was a @universityofpremefraternity exclusive post and like we discussed in our hour long video tutorial was going to be a great alternative to the sweater which was always going to have crazy fast sell out times. The resale is very similar and the times were manageable for all manual users, last sellout US - 26 seconds and EU - 77 seconds. There are plenty of successful patchwork items and they usually are featured on very low stock items (corduroy jackets, denim jackets, cardigans, harringtons) so even if they only appeal to a fraction of the community, the stock is going to match that and still create a successful aftermarket. No surprise that resale was at its highest straight after the drop, you are selling to a small group of buyers who won’t keep the demand going forever - sell quickly. ⠀
My shoulder bag prediction although close, is roughly $10 off. It’s still a positive performance and that’s why I wouldn’t be worried about the bag. Look at how many shoulder/waist bags go on the rise after they drop. As long as it’s popular (which this is) the demand continues to grow after the drop and I would be looking to hold this into the start of nex
