You find some amazing things on random pull-ins. In fact, I’d say the best and most memorable places that I’ve been are ones that I’ve come across accidentally or ones that I’ve ended up in when I take a wrong turn. Although I went to Wales this weekend with the hopes of catching sunrise at Lyn-Y-Fan-Fach, I’m kind of glad that the fog came in and forced me to go looking elsewhere.
going for sunrise was magical, can’t wait to do it again ✨
if you didn’t already know @unseencreatives is having their launch party this weekend! absolutely love the team that puts together awesome meetups and are pillars in the community. check ‘em out!! 💛
Got to share some beautiful moments with some beautiful people this past weekend
I’ve got a couple of videos waiting to go up on my channel if you guys are interested in seeing what I do when I go away for the night or how I take my photographs. I’ve just been trying to document my process as well as capture some fun moments with the people in my life. I‘m also starting a blog called ‘The Road to Freelance’. It will somehow tie into the videos. I definitely want to end up as a full time photographer in the future and I’ll be sharing my journey as I try and get there. Should be fun! Even though I’m only at 1K, there are so many consistent supportive people in the comments that I can’t thank enough. Thanks for all the compliments and critiques, you know who you are.
Something that I’m trying to do more and more is shoot no matter what the conditions are like. I used to get so hung up about taking photos because ‘the lighting isn’t good enough’ or ‘it’s cloudy’ or ‘it’s not cloudy enough’, when in reality, you can take photos that you’re happy with no matter the weather. When you stop making excuses and start being positive, the worst thing that can happen is that you end up with a few photos that you don’t like. The best thing that can happen is that you end up with loads of photos that you DO like. Start shooting whenever and wherever you can, no matter what potential excuses you may have.
