HAPPY YUMDAY. 😉 I made a thing with healthy things! This is basically a chocolate chip cookie 🍪 in cake form and is exactly what I needed after a weekend full of watching people eat pastries and donuts. 🍩 Sometimes I want to bite into something sweet too! And I love that this is made with almond flour, coconut sugar, and pure chocolate 🍫 with no added 💩. Here to tell ya you can still be indulgent and healthy at the same time. No FOMO here.

These vegetarian enchiladas I created for @vttortillaco are dope 🤙 and they have cheese so still delicious. Highly recommend any combo of veggies and beans in these organic corn 🌽 tortillas. Roll up, top with salsa + cheese and bake until bubbly. Finish off with some fresh cilantro 🌱, minced onion and pickled chili 🌶.

We all know that @sojospaclub has incredible amenities but they also have some great food as well like this freshly baked “prosciutto” pizza pie! It was the perfect compliment to a relaxing spa day. I’m drooling just thinking about it again. 😋😋🍕🍕
So it's pretty close to that time where one reflects on the past year. As part of that process I snagged my #topnine images. For the first time maybe, I see photos I really like, ones that challenged me in different ways. I gained a little something from each one - be it experience, or knowledge of what I'd do differently next time, or an idea of how to expand on an idea for a future shoot.
The biggest takeaway is likely that you need to face your doubts, and just keep learning. What we do as creatives has no right or wrong answer, there's no map, no guide book, no definition in a dictionary that can tell you explicitly, "This, this right here is perfection." And no one way from point A to point B is the right one. We're all out here sharing our vision, telling our story, and carving out our own path.
It's easy to underestimate how challenging a creative life can be. Because there's no set right or wrong answer. How do we gauge success? Is it plotted on a sliding scale of positive accolades, of sales, of personal growth and challenges met?
As you look forward to planning out your 2019, what are you most looking forward to and how will you define success?
I say no matter your goal, let's keep working our creative muscles harder and in new ways. Because it's with that muscle memory that we'll soon surpass what we thought we were capable of and aspire to something even greater.
