What a treat to wake up to this view every day! The water was still, the air was fresh and every morning I would jump off the boat with just a mask and fins and freedive to the bottom of the bays to swim with the fish and look for mermaid treasures. 🧜🏽♀️
In three days I found two snorkel masks, a pair of goggles, a plate and fork, wine glasses and a towel from previous boats gone by. No treasure chest yet but maybe one day soon 🔱
I was never sporty at all and I only got into scuba diving as a way of sightseeing underwater but the more I try out freediving and push myself to hold my breathe for longer and swim deeper with no equipment I understand that feeling of wanting to challenge your body to expand its limits. Think it’s time to do a freedive training course when I get back to Indonesia later this year! It’s truly the best feeling 💙💦
Another awesome day to go exploring in the hills. Had fun getting lost making detour after detour as i picked my way around the seasonally closed tracks. And managed to find some hidden gems and a cool little low range track that was still open that had a fun water erosion rut zig-zaging its way down the hill which i had to cross multiple times. Was also nice to finally try out my new tires on actual tracks

When you have explored the remote Kimberley region all day, nothing ends the day better than a beautiful sunset 🌅
