A group of capybaras compete with each other for being the first one to get into the hot spring (starting at 10:30am), however there’s one that sit in the pool since 10:29. 😂
After some pretty extensive internet research I finally came across a Mexican blog that mentioned a hot water pool quite literally in the middle of nowhere on the border of Chihuahua and Durango.
We rode about 80 miles down some dirt roads and finally found it! The air temperature was about 45 degrees Fahrenheit but the water was still warm enough to swim around for a few hours!
This pool's water was crazy crystal clear! It was surprising to me that there were even fish as well as turtles living in the water!!! 🐟🐡🐢💦

The #hveragerði#hotspring river is definitely a must see in #iceland🇮🇸 The hike to get to this #hotriver was definitely heart thumping and includes some steep climbs, and is almost entirely uphill for about an hour straight. but once you get to the town of #hveragerdi you'll reach a #geothermal river where you can relax in warm water while admiring the astonishing #icelandiclandscape
Insider tip: the higher upstream in the river the hotter the water!
Have you ever been in a #naturalspring ?
There’s no better morning than rolling out of your makeshift bed in the car, taking a short walk through the woods, and soaking in natural hot springs for hours. 💫🌲

"After one failed attempt a day earlier, we finally made it through the snow to these incredible hot springs in Oregon. Without a soul around, we spent hours taking in the view and enjoying warmth." #thediscoverer#nowdiscovering
