Happy Easter my Queens. 🧚🏻♀️ Today’s quote is straight from the Queen’s mouth herself @xtina. I want to share something soon with you around inequality in the workplace, because it is very much still here. I have been feeling so lost and like I can’t use my voice at work or it’s perceived as aggression or bitchiness, but I also don’t want to just sit there and smile and take shit from a man who is threatened by a powerful female. If men are assertive in work, it comes across as leadership, authoritative, powerful. I am also SICK of working in companies where it’s the same story time and time again, a load of male managers, male CEO’s, male bosses, male heads of departments. You know some of the best work and the smoothest processes I’ve seen have been done because it was done by a woman. Never let a man do a woman’s job. We’re here and we will boss this shit 💁🏼♀️👏🏻 (and no, this doesn’t make us a bitch) As I’ve said in a previous post, NEVER apologise for being a powerful fucking woman. 👊🏻

Are you planning, preparing or in the process of trying to fall pregnant. There is often a misconception that getting pregnant is easy and we actively avoid for many years simply then assuming that when the time is right it will happen easily, unfortunately this is not always the case.
I work with couples to create the right environment to welcome a pregnancy, this involves techniques to calm the mind, to reduce stress in the body, supporting all of the natural cycles in the body to work at their optimum from our sleep, our menstrual cycle and our hormones.
I have decided to create a separate page for Fertility Breathe Believe Conceive on FB, this will allow me to share information around my 6 step approach CREATE. So if you are currently trying or think that in the next year you will begin trying I hope this page will have a wealth of information that you find helpful on the journey to become parents.
Sometimes protecting your energy means upsetting people along the way.
I don't care what anyone says but we all like to be liked and most of us avoid situations that cause conflict and negativity if we can in order to not feel discomfort.
I've upset 2 people this weekend by making decisions for ME. Decisions that took a lot of consideration and thought. One of which sparking quite a hateful reaction which in my opinion was grossly uncalled for and unfair. But I can't control how someone decides to receive information.
I'm doing what is good for ME and what I want and deserve and I'm proud of myself for that as it's not easy and not something I'm particularly good at. As an empath It's in my nature to give the benefit of the doubt one too many times to the point where it isn't serving me.
This is just a message on this beautiful Easter Sunday to encourage you to protect your own energy and do what feels right for you even if it means a small amount discomfort.
Im just over here counting down the days until I can can do this again.. 👆🏻🙌🏻 I miss being upside down.
Gymnastics are one of my favourite parts of crossfit. I’d choose that over heavy lifting any day.😜 Would you choose gymnastics or a heavy lifting wod!!? Let me know below.👇🏻 P.S. if you want till the end you can see Charlotte “handstand walking”. 😍
So matcha love! 🍵
Simple rituals, self care and acts of kindness really make a difference to the day. It reminds you to slow down, be here and to take in the little things in life that can bring joy. Autumn sunshine, warm drinks, slow moments wrapped up in a good book. There’s a lot to be grateful for! We have ears that hear music, eyes that see, we literally have majestic tiny creatures that live in our houses that have their own free will and decide to come over to cuddle you or sit on you (I’m talking about my cats 🐈 😭) I feel like a total brat when I get moody over silly things, and sometimes moody Hope doesn’t “appreciate” anything but the fact that dinner was not 100/10 delicious and nothing and nobody is getting through to her (that girl is crazy!) sorry @seekingsammy 😜 but today, this week, I’ve been really, honestly, feeling so grateful. Trying to taste every moment and feel every sensation. Because there is a lot of magic to be seen and felt. (Also helps getting inspired by a great book - only 5 chapters in but damn!) anyway here’s a picture of the book and a matcha fusion latte- with mesquite, ginger, ashwaghanda and dates, other stuff too. .

Struggling with burnout? Find out key symptoms and specific ways to fix it.
NIGHTS SWEATS AREN'T NORMAL.. Your not quite sure when it happened. But it seemed all of a sudden, one night you woke up on the floor. You woke up drenched in sweat. You probably slid out of bed. ( Silk satin sheets). Then it started happening more and more. Now you have to change your clothes every night. You also are starting to notice small patches of acne popping up sometimes. As well a little more body fat on the back of your arms. Your memory and mood seems a bit sketchy too. But that could just be life. Right? Or? Many people have this. Number one, don't sleep with flannel sheets and wool pajamas under a duvet.
But if your temperature is ideal and you are still wringing sweat from your clothes and sheets, there are a couple reasons this may be happening.
1. Early or on time Menopause: Many women hop into menopause way to early. Usually after a stressful year. What can you do? A) increase your magnesium bisglycinate. B) Use vitamin E 1:1 by metagenics C) Use Omega oils which help with hormonal production and balance. D) Black cohosh. Doing these will keep the legs and lower abdomen leaner.
2. Thyroid:.Both under active or over active can cause this. What can you do? Our thyroid is affected by sleep stress and insulin. So work on improving each of those. A) Eat nutrient dense foods and keep carbs around workout times ideally. B) Work on healing leaky gut and any microbial issues. They all stress the thyroid and add unwanted weight. C) Use adaptogens like ashwagandha or phosphatidylserine. Which help keep stress hormone under control.
3. Manage stress to keep hormones under control. A) avoid Biphenol A found in plastic bottles. Or Gyphosate . A Round Up ( weed killer) ingredient that is found on crops. Both, mess up our hormonal system. Eat organic or non GMO foods. B) Watch wheat dairy corn soy sugar. All foods that are tampered with our hormones. C) caffeine, alcohol and smoking D) sleep by 10 pm and journal/meditate to naturally lower stress. This gives a leaner midsection and easier weight loss too.
Do you have night sweats? Our 4 step assessment will show WHY this happening to you. DM to book yours today!
Why is it that media & marketing has us all confused about a concept older than Christ? Fasting is truly amazing and produces results too numerous to believe. Yet, western medicine has conditioned us to believe it’s harmful. That is the biggest lie of all. The one simple thing that can reverse aging, reduce cancer rates, give the body time to rebuild cell damage, detoxify, reduce inflammation which is linked to just about every disease we have today.....the list of benefits is unreal. Yet, there’s no money to be made by big pharma so it’s discounted. Really, think about it. Isn’t it time we start learning what really works and stop listening to companies that are making billions by keeping us sick and near death? #intermittentfasting#fasting
Phases, cycles, seasons. The ebb and flow. The feminine and masculine. The light and dark.⠀
We need them all to appreciate the other. This full moon phase has been a powerful one, hasn't it? Anyone else out there feeling it?⠀
I feel I've been called to the edge of my edge, asking for what's next. The next phase of my personal evolution. The next step in exposing myself and feeling vulnerable, in order to hold space for others to expand and heal.⠀
These phases can feel confusing sometimes, unsettling, or too raw and confusing. But I know in my heart they are necessary in order for the next phase to come. I can either hold resistance and push them away, or open my arms and heart and welcome in the next level of development.⠀
How do handle the changes in the seasons, your cycle, or the moon? ⠀
<❤️Surround yourselves with people you love and who love you ❤️>
Today was a glorious and uplifting one filled with splendid sunshine, fantastic florals, furry felines, fabulous family and friends and a gorgeous late dinner by candlelight.
My wonderful twin @floras_kitchen_stories cooked up the most divine feasts without breaking a sweat and everyone rallied around and helped out. A truly wonderful day filled with love and laughter! ❤️❤️

How many of you are bleeding or ovulating during this Full Moon?
It’s quite common for women to be in these phases of their cycles because the moon is closest to the Earth at this time, and has a stronger gravitational pull.
Just like the moon impacts the tides and waters, our body is made up of 74% water, and our reproductive organs experience this pull, secreting out sacred fluids.
There are actual studies that show most women are menstruating or ovulating at these times of the month.
So, what about the rest of us non-full or new moon bleeders?
This is a question I receive a lot, and a see a lot of women feeling it’s “ideal” to be bleeding with the new moon. I want to clarify, there is no right or wrong time to bleed. Your cycle can change as you sync up with a close friend, move across the country and start a new lifestyle flow, and from changes in hormones.
Most importantly, it’s about our creative energy and where it’s focused: are we focused on an inward journey of healing, nourishing new creative ideas? (new & waxing moon bleeders), or is our creative energy extended outwards in birthing a program or community group for the collective (full & waning moon bleeders). Neither is right or wrong, we can flow and shift like the moon.
Are you wanting to understand the concepts of your changing hormones and how it impacts your creativity, nutritional needs, and energy levels so you work WITH your creative energy?
This comes from understanding your Sacred Blueprint... which is your monthly menstrual cycle… .
And we will be diving into learning it, together, this next Lunar Cycle, starting on the New Moon in Taurus, May 4th. 👆🏼🌷Early Bird Link is in my profile!

I made this sleep roller last night, and slept like a ROCK!
30 d dreamcatcher
15 d nutmeg
15 d cedarwood
glob of vetiver (I pop the reducer off and pour 🤷🏻♀️- prob was 10 drops worth)
top off w/ carrier oil
rub across chest/forearms/neck and bottom of feet- generously!
Oils have completely changed our sleeping habits. Grab a kit this weekend and I’ll throw this blend in with your welcome pack! 👌🏻
ExWel Coffee Shop Chronicles✨ Doing work outside turns off the stress response hormones which allows your brain to reach its optimal level of productivity - increased concentration, improved memory and greater creativity.
Taking a break from 📺 @rachaelray’s 30 min meals— she was the first inspiration I ever had (aside from mama, ofcourse).
I’m feelin’ more and more comfortable with my dreams everyday (YALL are part to blame. Seriously, thank you from the bottom of ma heart for all the little acts of love you’ve been throwing around here). But also, patience. I’ll be the first to admit I‘m still learning to push through when I’m overwhelmed, confused, or discouraged. But I’m proud of the woman I’m becoming and the vision that’s coming together because I’ve had to stand tall in what I know even when some don’t fully see it (no one will ever see it like you do, girl) and spend time with myself off social until I fully understand who I am and what I want.
Love you! Happy Easter (weekend)! 🐰

Hay boo, did you know that there are four different phases of your menstrual cycle? Yup. Your menstrual cycle is more involved than just getting your period. There are 5 different hormones that govern your experience of your menstrual cycle: estrogen, progesterone, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH) + testosterone. The quantities of these 5 hormones changes four times throughout your menstrual cycle thus creating four distinct phases: follicular, ovulatory, luteal and menstrual. The ratios of hormones varies between each phase which affects you physically: getting your period, ovulating etc. and it also affects how you feel emotionally and overall. Yeah, you're not crazy, hormones determine how you feel-it's real. There are days that you have more energy, focus, determination, motivation, sex drive and patience and there are days where you're more blah, tired, introverted, maybe a little sad or maybe you have a little headache. Wherever you are and whatever you're feeling IT'S OK!
Is it just me, or do we put this pressure on ourselves the be the best mom, wife, sister, friend, boss, employee, athlete, whatever at all times and if we aren't then there is something wrong with us. Our bodies aren't made for us to be and act 100% the same 100% of the time.
Based on where you are in your cycle, your body may need that extra rest and quiet time to turn inward
instead of going out to that party or gathering with friends. Other times in your cycle, your energy is on point and you crush your workouts, feel productive, creative and more social. To me, it's all beautiful and so fun to tune into. I love the change of seasons, and I look at my menstrual cycle just like that! How cool is it that each month our body goes through this change and we can tune into it and make the most of each phase if we just let ourselves?
Girl, you are freaking POWERFUL and there is more to you than your probably know. We don't have to let hormones make us crazzzzy and really we can help to determine that by some food + lifestyle changes, how we perceive stress, getting proper sleep + minimizing our toxic load. #hormonehealth#functionalhealthcoach#girlpower
This has been the “easiest” and most enjoyable diet/cut I’ve ever done
and (I think) I’m the leanest I’ve ever been & saw my lowest scale weight since my teens 😳
I never felt like I was “dieting”.
I’ve had energy, great workouts & felt strong, sleep has been decent, good digestion, and my mood has been great!
No foods were off limits.
I fueled my body with whole, nutrient dense foods first, and sometimes saved room for less nutrient dense foods, but only when cravings were strong.
I measured/weighed my food 90% of the time.
I consistently hit my macros.
I saved alcohol for special occasions.
My macros NEVER dropped below 1,500 cal 140gP, 55gF, 150gC
I didn’t get my period last month (no, I’m not pregnant).
After working so hard for 9 months to get it after stopping birth control a year ago, this is a red flag for me.
It could be the “low” macros, the increased stress/cardio, or a mix of both!
So this last week I increased my fats a little... yes, right before vacation 😮 because HEALTH > abs.
and remember, FITNESS/Skinny/fit/shredded/lean/etc does NOT always equal HEALTHY!
I have no desire to be any leaner than I am now. Being lean is cool, and I FEEL great, BUT I want healthy hormones, so I’ll be slowly working back to 80ish grams of fat and increasing carbs!
Until then, cheers to vacation and consuming all the fish tacos, pineapple, and margaritas my little heart desires🥂🌮🍍🍹
Magnesium is a mineral (one of the most important!) & very abundant in the human body. However, with modern agriculture & thus decreased soil quality, paired with the SAD (standard American diet) way of eating taking over, magnesium is becoming harder to get in proper amounts.👀
These are some common associations that have been seen in people with low levels of magnesium based on the current literature.📝
FOODS HIGH IN MAGNESIUM:
1️⃣Dark choc (at least 70% cacao): you may be having chocolate or sweet cravings bc your body actually wants magnesium!
2️⃣Spinach/ Swish chard (dark leafy greens)
3️⃣Nuts & seeds (especially almond, pumpkin seeds & cashews)
7️⃣Mung beans .
If you are struggling with any of these issues, talk to your health care practitioner if magnesium may be an option!

Did you know there are 50 different hormones in the body!? 50!!! (SWIPE & learn about them!).
Hormones extend much deeper than just estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.. these hormones (along with insulin & cortisol) get a lot of press, but there are so many more hormones in our body & each one is extremely important!
Hormones are chemical messengers used for either communication between two endocrine glands or between an endocrine gland and a target organ. It’s how our body communicates with itself. HOW COOL IS THAT? 😎
Hormones are responsible for our wake-sleep cycle, metabolism regulation, hunger changes/cravings & are the reason our emotions fluctuate. (just to name a few of the things they affect!). They are so important! If one of them is out of whack, it can throw everything out of balance and cause you to have some pretty awful symptoms! #hormonehealth#themoreyouknow
