Communication tip: Talk about how you feel, rather than what the other person did/did not do. Others can debate what you are blaming them for, but they can’t debate how you feel! Let’s do some examples:
Don’t say: You have been ignoring me all day!
Do say: I have been feeling ignored at different times throughout the day.
Don’t say: You are always so mean!
Do say: I feel really down about myself when you do/say that.
Don’t say: You never help with anything!
Do say: I feel like I have a lot to do and it’s really overwhelming.
Arguments are often ineffective because we get caught up in the blame game rather than focusing on our feelings. Blame is not always truth because we all have different perspectives. Person 1 can think they are doing a great thing and person 2 can take it very differently than it was intended. So if we speak from our feelings rather than the event that happened, we can be a lot more effective! Remember, events are often distressing because of the meanings we give them, not because of the events themselves!

“Pretty” is not the rent you pay to exist in this world as a woman. Your worth is not measured by the size of your waist!
I’m not sure where this advice came from, but it’s definitely not advocating for you listening to your own bodies signals.
If you’re hungry, EAT👏🏼👏🏼
Drinking a big glass of water right before you eat actually dilutes the stomach acid & causes poor digestion...
SMILE SIS! You got another day to try it again!🤷🏾♀️DO NOT LET FAILURE DISCOURAGE YOU! Just try it again , change the plan ! THE GOAL REMAINS THE SAME‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
🗣Say a prayer for NO RAIN TOMORROW 😩 , it’s raining today in Atl 🙄! WE WILL NOT BE STOPPED!💕☺️🏃🏾♀️💋💪🏾 #prettycurvesrock

Hope everyone had a good week, one more week until my Christmas vacation! Yess!
Bath-time is my absolute favourite, as it allows me to unwind, relax and take stock of my incredible and powerful body.
I have been on a radical transformation this year; my body and mind have adjusted and changed significantly and I’ve been putting in so much effort and hard work to achieve my own personal goals. Even though I am stronger physically than I have ever been before (I can now deadlift 80kgs!) my body still remains soft, squishy and with a high body fat percentage. Is this okay? Absolutely.
Our worth is far greater than any number on a scale, any statistic, any percentage, any ‘advice’. We are so much more that just our physical form, however it is a radical and beautiful act to love your physical form regardless of its shape, size or genetic makeup.
