Raw vs cooked part 2 (Honey)- Honey is a pretty magical food and herb when you think of it.
All the tiny particles of pollen ( Plant Reproductive energy) from the local flora, is gathered and partially fermented by bee’s to form Honey.
As pollen can be a seasonal allergy trigger for a lot of people, eating raw honey can introduce a safer and more easily digestible form of the pollen. This encourages a healthy tolerance and is a form of immuneotherapy.
Obviously local is necessary for allergy relief so we are actually digesting the pre-digested form of pollen from the plants that are causing our immune response.
Benefits of honey - Increases libido ( its technically and functionally the plant equivalent of fermented sperm)
- Reduces seasonal allergies (immunotherapy style)
- improves sleep by increasing melatonin production 1 spoon before bed.
-strengths digestion + sooo much more
Raw : Raw is best when it comes to honey. All the benefits mentioned above . The medicinal properties will vary depending on what pollen the bees are collecting.
Cooked: equal to corn syrup most of the benefits are lost and will be more damaging then good. When you compare then two in the store you can see how much you are missing out in the cooked version.
Verdict: Raw honey or nothing
