What is ONE WORD you would use to describe your family? 🖤
This is us, and we are GROWING! 🌱 The pups are getting bigger, and we are getting braver as we venture farther and farther from Maine and our families. 😬
What is ONE WORD you might use to describe your family today? 💟
I deffinatly miss Shelbys little kitchen. All the food storage, spices and oils. I have found myself living off of trail food this past month with out her. Funny you would think the opposite, but this little kitchen is my dining hall. A perfect club house made for me. I never expected to feel so fondly over a van. Shes my home 💗
We loved the @pix11news story on our reasons for going tiny (the link is up in my bio) but a few people asked where Todd was in the piece. He doesn’t love being on camera but even if he did, he still didn’t want to “out” himself so publicly just yet. His company and clients are headquartered in NYC where the piece ran, and he works in a field where success is still measured by one’s clothes, car, home, etc - and he is not sure his colleagues and business partners would get it. So, while the most important people in our lives are supportive, there is still a bit of a stigma when you do something drastically different. So long story short: I’m not a camera hog. Todd is just maintaining his privacy professionally. Not forever but just for a little bit longer.... .
In any event - being home now with our pups after an awesome weekend away with friends reminds me why we did this in the first place. It doesn’t take much - in terms of material items - to create a happy life. Good friends, family, the ability to travel, a cozy home + our dogs. #tinyhomebiglife 💗💗💗
My little babies growing! 🌱😍💚
After all the white snow in my newsfeed, I wanted to share something colorful. It’s a cool 26 out right now, which is our high for the day! These babies are nice and toasty indoors. Soaking up the sunshine!
We always marvel at how quickly the landscape can change when we are on the road. Just a few days ago, we were hanging out in the Redwoods & along the coast of Northern California. Unfortunately plans on seeing more of the state were foiled by wildfires. While we were never close to either of the devastating fires ravaging parts of California, the smoke travels far, and we needed to continue on our journey to clearer skies.
On to the next adventure. #vegasbound

“We’re gonna get right back to where we started from...”
I don’t always start my posts with song lyrics, but when I do, I do it twice in a row. •
Since we’ve gotten a fair amount of new followers we thought we’d do a quick family intro, in case you’re interested in knowing a little more about us than what’s in our bio. •
We’re David (33), Casey (32 next week), Violet (7), Beatrice (5.5), and Harrison Gray (very much 2). Originally from the DMV, this past summer we got rid of 1/3 of our stuff, stored 1/3 of our stuff, and packed the last 1/3 into a 33.5 foot fifth wheel travel trailer with the hope of searching the US for a place to settle down as a family (mostly we’re in the market for warmer locales). Before moving forward with our grande RV tour, we toyed around with the idea of settling in downtown DC, suburban MD, and rural VA, but none of those options seemed right for us. Since we love traveling as a family and the 5 of us generally end up piled up in the same corner of any home we’ve lived in, we figured RV life might be a good fit, at least for awhile. So what started as a couple of vague, dream-scenario conversations 3 years ago turned into a reality this past September. We’ve been on the road for 2 months now and we are all truly loving it! •
David works from the road as a graphic-designing #digitalnomad while Casey and the kids spend their days #roadschooling, so we typically do our family adventuring, hiking, and touring in the evenings and weekends, and on random afternoons. Our goal is to be on the road for about a year, maybe a bit longer. Where will we end up? Your guess is as good as ours! Next up on the itinerary: Florida, Texas, and SoCal and some cities in between. We’re happy to have you traveling along with us as we experience America and RV living - the good, the bad, and the craze-mazing.

We moved out of our home, donated/sold tons of our stuff, bought a van and set out to see our beautiful country, visit friends, and also to share about our incredible business that we just love so much! Our route was planned around a few things, and one of them being a retreat with people we get the privilege of working with. This past weekend, we got to go to that retreat in North Carolina and it was amazing! We are so grateful for this business and how it has transformed our lives through health, community, faith, and so much more. If you want to know more, PLEASE reach out. You can also check out more info on our website (link in bio). Life is good!

We found a new loving family for the dog that someone just dumped at the beach yesterday ❤️ he's now called Oscar and he's never been happier 😍Buddha is a bit sad that his friend won't be sleeping with us but they can play tomorrow again! 🐾and with those good news we're saying goodnight! 😴 sleep tight peps ❤️
This is the face of a dog who wants to be outside. 🐕
Unfortunately, the air quality in our neck of the woods has been unhealthy the past few days, and we’ve been cooped up inside. •
Our hearts go out to all Californians affected by the wildfires, the brave men and women working day and night to contain them, the families who have lost loved ones and pets, and all of the volunteers that are selflessly out there helping others. •
The eerie skies, bright red sun, smokey air, and huge social media presence is all-too-familiar to us after the Santa Rosa fires we experienced last year. •
The only silver lining to such devastation is that the love in the air, truly is thicker than the smoke. Humanity can sometimes test all of our faith, but in times of need, we get to witness the acts of big hearts and generous volunteers for those in need. This shows us the world is really filled with love! Let’s keep the love spreading! ❤️

Saying “I love you” was a big deal for us. But saying it came so naturally.
I had loved him from the beginning. Even as a friend. I looked up to him, he inspired me. I knew I was in love with him. I never thought that those words would come out of his mouth.
This story is actually kind of long, but I’ll sum it up around the term “Love.” As friends, we were having a glass of wine, sitting in front of a fire. It was a couple of days before New Years. He pulled a gift out of his pocket and handed to me. I was literally astonished and I couldn’t believe he had gotten me such a gift. He told me he was falling in love with me. I remember my heart jolting and beating so fast. I couldn’t wrap my head around it. I looked at him and he kissed me. As friends I knew that we were always weary around such a term. We have gone through our own experiences to learn enough (or at least we thought we did) to understand that love isn’t something you just mess around with. And that, we wouldn’t waste our time using the term, if we didn’t really feel that way. From then on though, it was something that we were both able to surrender ourselves to. We surrendered to this Love so blindly and so vulnerably. ♥️ .

Time for a shower 🚿!
Some of you asked us... and YES we can take a shower while traveling in our van! With a limit of 8 liters we actually can take a quick shower to refresh ourselves 🙌🏻 and it works out pretty well.
Would you take a shower like that?
Another awesome weekend away @glenworth_valley🌿🐎 thanks to all of our friends and family that came to checkout the bus and wish us farewell! #kunuthebus
Now that we’re parked, we will be working on touching up the bus interior. A good clean and a fresh coat of paint.⠀
