A friend of mine rented Chancho this weekend and went on a pretty epic adventure with her son. The stoke was a little extra high seeing this fam in my van because much like me, @blackberry.girl is single momma, busting her booty to raise a fine young man while prioritizing time to make sure her kiddo knows what adventure is and all the beauty this world has to offer. Her son Ben is quite the badass little fisher man so last minute I threw the paddle board on the roof hoping he might get the chance to paddle out somewhere dope and fish. My dream for him was made reality and although he might not have caught anything... lil dude got after it and that’s all that really matters. To me this photo is the epitome of #foundsero for Ben and for me, and I have a feeling for his momma too. So much love and respect for you Elaine. I hope I get to hug you soon!
💤 Classic case of the Monday’s - oh wait we’ve been hitting the snooze button ⏰ far too often for weeks now! And we blame on our new, cozy @beddysbeds 🛏
Feet in or out, zipped up or down, that minky interior is 👌🏼 But even if we wake up late, it takes about 10 seconds to make our bed now! 👍🏼
We’re #happycampers and you can be too —>
Architecturally one of the prettiest universities we have been to!

This past weekend I went to Ramp Camp in Port Alberni for the first time. Ramp Camp is an annual celebration of skateboarding, family, friendship and life for the late Jamie Collins. It was the highest level of skating I have ever seen and good times were had by all. This is the only photo I took away from the weekend. It's me sitting down. I'd like to think it's because I was too busy having fun but in reality I was probably just drunk and blowing it. .
The presence of a single object can completely alter the atmosphere of a space. In this case, it’s this beautiful couch by @article. The warmth of the leather compliments the cool tones of white and grey so well throughout this carefully crafted tiny house. It provides a sense of completion and makes it feel like home.
❄️ 💙We just love the snow!💙❄️ .
Joe & I both have season passes for Perisher, Australia and we are just in love with the 2018 snow season! ⛄️ .
Heading down 🚐 again this weekend for some fresh powder 💥 and slick runs 🤙🏼... .
Who else is hitting the slopes this weekend? ⛷🏂

New blog post up about our trip through Yellowstone! Link in profile 👍🏼
We might not have an oven or a microwave, but with a little creativity and a cast iron pan, we can still make some big meals in this #tinyhome. With the help of a lid (foil or another pan), we can even make enchiladas and pizza on the stove top!
Do you have any #tinykitchen tips to share?

We set off on this journey of downsizing and living small so we could spend more time on adventures together. 🏕
Of course a part of us wants to be on the road already, but working together on the remodel has been a fun adventure in itself!
Though Cooper better start downsizing his toy collection and pulling his weight around here! 😂
“Home is where the hitch is.” @xomicaylaa and I have talked about this plan for over a year now and we finally made the dream come true. Here is our new 41FT travel trailer that is equipped with everything a home has, and more [literally]. We are excited for this journey, and hope to eventually hit the road full time with it in the upcoming years. Here’s to living outside the average lifestyle, and cheers to upcoming excitement OWNING something 😋
"I'm so random, quirky and weird look at me"
After yesterdays #hike my legs were sore af but still hiked a 2.3 mile #trail by Madame Sherri's #castle ruins
I love finding abandoned #ruins especially if I'm the only one there.
If i ever get a house I want it to be #gothic#castle style cuz I'm extra.
The beautiful cedar and metal accent on our most recent build really brings out the natural character of the knots in the wood! (To anyone that commented on recent posts, thank you! We will be responding to everyone as quickly as we can. In the mean time feel free to reach out to [email protected] for direct inquiries.) #tinyhousebuild#cedar#knotty
Just being together is enough. All the cousins hanging out (minus a few)
I think this summer trip to Lake Powell was super fun because I didn’t have babies. For the last 11 years I have had babies and toddlers.
This time I got to cuddle and help with my little sister’s kids. I was the one who could sympathize and step in when things got crazy because I HAVE been there!
It was beautiful to see myself in that new stage of life and not feel like I still needed to have a wee babe. Love these moments. #familytimeisthebest#cousinlove💕 #houseboat
If you’ve been following our stories, you know that this past week we’ve been en route to Alaska in this hot little @suboverland 😍. David’s cousin converts suburbans into campers and he let us borrow this family-friendly model (with a bigger bed and a row of seats for passengers left in) to take us north. We wanted to take Buster, but the suburban’s gas mileage and 4WD won us over for such a quick, rugged trip! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be visiting our last 3 national parks: Glacier Bay, Kobuk Valley and Gates of the Arctic. We are SO EXCITED for these parks! We’re ferrying into Glacier Bay from Skagway, then exploring by boat and kayak. And then we’ll drive on to Anchorage to meet up with Lyle and the fam from @lakeandpenair , who will be taking us into Kobuk and Gates and camping with us there. WE ARE GIDDY ABOUT ALL OF THIS.
The summer is fading away step by step. Autumn brings the storms, the waves - and the fun 🏄🏽♂️🤙🏽 We are looking forward to have some nice windy sessions in the following weeks.
Maybe we‘ll see us in Denmark? 🇩🇰
