Loved this recipe from @pinchofyum ! I adapted it a bit for some healthier ingredients.. I used @bobsredmill oat flour to make it gluten-free, coconut sugar in place of cane sugar, grass fed butter and organic pasture-fed eggs (you could use flax eggs & vegan butter if vegan), and an @eatingevolved unsweetened chocolate bar. It still turned out DELICIOUS!
I also made a cashew based icing from @rainbowplantlife using beet powder as a natural food coloring

Yup I relapsed! Not because @monte718 bought me chocolates. I told him not too cause you know, MILK chocolate is what I can't have plus I hate these American take your money holidays (I hate all holidays tbh). I was 2mins late for work (first time ever late) in search of vegan food cause I didn't make anything for dinner smh. (I got a soup smh. No vegan spots on the island smh) All of this to come to work and be weakened by cupcakes and chocolates and brownies!!! Oh well. You know what. I brownie and a cupcake isn't going to kill me (the vegan police might) my stomach will attack me come 6am and I'll regret this whole thing but you what?! The shit was good! I wont do it again 😒
Community ✨💖 | When I was traveling last year, I met someone who told me how she thinks it’s incredibly important to be part of a yoga studio for the community. That simple comment really stuck with me. I had been thinking of doing a teacher training for a few years, but never found a studio that felt “right”... until I found @mulayogato that is! After just one class at Mula, I signed up for their teacher training. And I’m happy to say my intuition led me to the right place - Mula has an absolutely incredible community that I am so grateful for 💓💓💓. I can hardly believe our training is coming to an end this weekend, but I’m excited to celebrate with these beautiful souls.

🌿Seed to Seal: what’s the deal?🌿.
If you are new to YL and don’t know what the ‘Seed to Seal’ means, let me clue you in on something. Products sold in stores can be tricky as they can be labeled “100% pure” and only contain 1 drop of the essential oil and be filled with carrier oil or toxins. (Don’t believe me? Check out the back label of those essential oils in Target or Marshall’s or the grocery store).
Young Living has been in business for 25 years and has a ‘Seed to Seal’ process. They grow their own trees and plants in farms in the U.S. and other countries with strict regulations excluding use of chemicals and pesticides. They hand weed to avoid car exhaust polluting the plants. They also distill on site which is huge for creating therapeutic benefit.
Here’s what has wowed me the MOST...they have an open farm policy where anyone can visit any one of their farms to see how they operate, ask questions and even participate. 🙌🏻

💛🍋 Lemon Loaf🍋💛
💛 1 1/2 cups flour
💛 3/4 cup shredded coconut
💛 1/4 cup coconut sugar
💛3 tbsp chia seeds
💛2 tsp baking powder .
💛 1 tbsp vanilla extract .
💛 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar .
💛 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
💛 1/4 cup applesauce
💛 1/2 cup lemon juice
💛1/2 cup water
💛 3 drops Lemon essential oil
🍋Mix all ingredients together and pour into a loaf pan. .
🍋Bake for 45 min at 350 degrees F. .
🍋Remove from oven, let cool, and enjoy. 🙏🏼💛✨🙏🏼

I am going to get real for a second. Not everyone wants to get better. There are various different reasons for this. Some have an identity tied to sickness. Others fear true wellness because it is the unknown and the unknown is unpredictable. There is comfort in knowing exactly what your life will look like even if it’s not serving you. Subconscious patterns and neurological pathways are chains for many.
Healing is work. It’s REALLY hard work. It’s painful and terrifying. It means letting go of stories and the death of a part version of self.
You will know when you’re ready. Then you’ll second guess it and want to quit. But the next day you stay committed, and you keep repeating until practice becomes discipline. And discipline becomes confidence. One day you look at yourself in the mirror and you see that that person wasn’t “made,” that person was created. With intention, self love, and faith in a future self that could only be manifested in your mind.
The real work, the real change has nothing to do with anything “out there.” The real work is to master your own mind.
