They say failure is not an option. This is correct. We do not get to choose failure. It is required for success. The statement, "failure is not an option." Simply means, I will not quit trying until I end with success.
I will file this statement under the heading; Lessons from a #unicycle .
Gingerbread Cashew Butter, anyone?
Let’s take a minute to thank @steph_gaudreau for pulling the holiday recipes outta the archives for us. Check it out:
This one is super simple and creamy with the right amount of holiday spice.
2 cups raw unsalted cashews 2-3 tsp gingerbread spice mix (recipe on the blog) 1 tbsp coconut sugar, optional 1-2 tbsp coconut oil
Add the cashews to a food processor. Turn on the food processor and allow it to run for several minutes. Stop it a few times and scrape down the sides and bottom. The cashews should begin to turn from crumbs into a thick paste. This may take at least 5 minutes. - Once it's become a paste, add the gingerbread spice mix. Start with 2 teaspoons and add more from there if you like a stronger flavor. Add the coconut sugar if you'd like. Pulse a few times to combine.
Then, with the food processor running, drizzle in the coconut oil to smooth out the texture. Start with 1 tablespoon and add a bit more if you want it to be creamier. Enjoy! -
