These ladies are just a few of the women getting together, on their own thanks to our Facebook groups. Our Northeast group has some amazing ladies and they recently got together to day hike the Great Range Traverse in the Adirondacks in New York State.
"There aren't adequate words to describe climbing 10 mountains, 25 miles, in one day. You don't do it to have fun. You do it to prove you can. You do it to stand (or lay gasping) in awe of the beautiful Earth we stand on. You do it to learn your physical and mental limits and the plow right past those limits.
My right shin is covered in welts. A bruise is spreading across half my thigh. I poured hydrogen peroxide down my arms to clean my cuts, and I'm actually wondering if I should paint my fingernails before work tomorrow, to cover the dirt I can't remove. And I am thankful. For my indefatigable body, my stunning planet, and women who make me better" - @amandaloviza
There's women near you in our groups who are out there to help you and join you on these tough hikes. We're better together... and there's a variety of women in our groups, all over... all different skill levels, backgrounds, ages, availability. All different personalities. We're proud of these ladies and to have them, and you as part of the community.

“there is something magical and addicting about going somewhere, being alone, and finding yourself in parts of the world you never knew existed, finding parts of yourself you never knew you would find.” ― Ava 📸 : @mondello789

I had the absolute privilege this year to visit Everest and to witness in part just what it takes to summit these Himalayan peaks. It was a mad rollercoaster of an adventure from start to finish and one I struggle to find the words to fully explain. I was met only by kindness and smiling faces, blessed and prayed for. I met so many interesting people from all around the world all out to fulfil their own personal goals. Nepal was summed up for me at the airport when my Sherpa guide shook my hand and said “You arrived as my guest and you leave as my friend” - the plane journey home was the loneliest I’d been in weeks.
This has been a record season for successful summits of Everest however there are a number of climbers and trekkers who have perished doing what they loved and will not be returning home.. The Climbers memorial at Thukla is one of the most stunning places I’ve ever been to and is such a fitting place for these climbers to be remembered. 🇳🇵 Follow us: @inuzon_travel
