Vegan General Tsos “Chicken” made from tofu y’all 👏🏽 I was vegetarian for a year and I was blown away at how easy it was with there being vegetarian options available at almost every restaurant nowadays🙌🏽 I ended up introducing meat back into my diet in order to overcome my restrictive mentality towards food as part of my recovery from my eating disorder. I loved how I felt physically being veg and I respect everyone who does it if that’s what’s right for them! I still stick to a mainly plant-based diet and get hyped on fun veg dishes though🤗

#transformationtuesday! One year ago today I went to Universal Studios with my wife and friends. And it was one of the most uncomfortable days of my life! It was uncomfortable because I barely fit on any of the rides and I was squished against people because of how big I was. That was one of my major turning points because I never want to feel that way again! I can’t believe it already been a year since we went to California, it sure doesn’t feel like that long ago! But this just goes to show that you can do anything you put your mind to!!

Curtsy Squat Ground Taps
Kettle Bell Sumo Squats
Elevated Hip Thrust w/stabilizing ball
Hamstring Curls w/stabilizing ball
30 sec/exercise, 30 sec rest (after all exercises)
Repeat circuit 4 times
I get bored very easily so I write a new workout every time I hit the gym (4-6 times/week). Hopefully this can help someone who has a hard time putting together their own circuit!
I am running another challenge group for October. This time it’s LIIFT 4. This program is awesome! It’s a 8 week program, 4 days a week, 30 minutes a day. Like what?! You’re in and out in 30 minutes.. 4 days a week. You lift, then hiit (high intensity interval training), then abs. You get the whole package. •

It can be obtained in massages, spa days, vacations, exercise, clean eating, yoga, therapy and in many other ways. Though I participate in several of those things, it also has a much deeper meaning for me. It's about learning what I need in my life to be fulfilled and having the strength to make decisions for myself and my life that honor who I am. Self growth and development are so vital to understanding and uncovering the people we are. Good Morning ☀️ Planned to get in a 5 mile run this morning, but it’s gloomy & rainy ⛈⛈⛈, so I started the day at @orangetheory instead! Already off to a busy start this morning, but I hope you’re all having a good start to the week!
Cinnamon Raisin Ezekiel w/ Avo Slices & Red Pepper Flakes + a Sunny Pasture-Raised Egg + extra Avo Slices + Berries & “Skinny Dipped” Chocolate Almonds
give me all the warming soups! this chicken + kale soup is so cozy, easy to make, and made with warming spices and gut healing bone broth that can aid in improving digestion! recipe below for this nourishing soup 🥣
3 cups bone broth
1 cup water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp coconut aminos or gluten free soy sauce
1 - 1.35 lb chicken breast, cut into small pieces
2 large carrots, diced
2 large stalks celery, chopped
1/2 yellow onion
1 bunch of kale, torn + stems removed
juice of 1 lemon
1/4 tsp: turmeric, oregano, chili powder, cayenne (optional)
sea salt + pepper to taste
1. Heat olive oil in medium stock pot on medium heat. Add onion and cook until translucent.
2. Add chicken and cook for 3-5 minutes or until brown on the outside. Add carrots, celery, coconut aminos, and spices. Stir and cook for about 2 more minutes.
3. Add bine broth and water, and turn heat to high and bring soup to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer.
4. Simmer soup on low for 25-35 minutes, until veggies are tender and chicken is fully cooked.
5. Stir in kale and lemon juice, serve once kale is wilted.
