I think this would be good with cauliflower rice!! Grilled Lemon Ginger Shrimp 🍤
20 ounces jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined when cooked - should yield 2 - 7 oz servings cooked (2 Leans)
1 tbsp olive oil (3 Healthy Fats)
1 tsp sesame oil (1 Healthy Fats)
1 tbsp lemon juice (1 1/2 Condiments)
1/4 tsp garlic powder(1 Condiment)
1/2 tsp ground ginger (1 Condiment)
1/2 tsp coriander (cilantro) (1 Condiment)
1/4 tsp paprika (1/2 Condiment)
1/4 tsp salt (1 Condiment)
Dash of pepper (Optional)
In a medium size bowl combine the olive oil, sesame oil, lemon juice, onion, garlic, ginger, cilantro, paprika, salt, and pepper until blended. Reserve a small amount for basting. Add shrimp, and stir to coat. Cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat grill to medium heat. Thread shrimp onto skewers, piercing once near the tail and once near the head. Discard marinade. Lightly oil grill grate. Grill shrimp for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until opaque. Baste with reserved sauce while cooking.
Also good with fish baked in foil.
2 Servings with 1 Lean (7 oz cooked shrimp), 2 Healthy fats, and 3 Condiments per serving

Resolvi fazer esse post porque vejo que é um problema para muitas pessoas, ter autocontrole com a ingestão de doces. O açúcar ao ser consumido gera prazer imediato e quanto mais você consome, mais vontade terá de ter aquele prazer. Quando o açúcar entra na corrente sanguínea na forma de glicose, o pâncreas libera insulina para converter a glicose em energia que leva ao aumento de GORDURA corporal, isso mesmo! 😱
Bom, mas vamos as dicas para diminuir o excesso;
COMECE REDUZINDO a quantidade de açúcar que você ingere, isso mesmo, não precisa parar totalmente de comer doce, mas você pode reduzir, se você come todos os dias, passe a comer três vezes na semana, se come três vezes passe a uma vez.
QUANTO MENOS INGERIR, MENOS VAI TER VONTADE porque o seu paladar vai acostumar com o sabor menos doce.
PREFIRA CONSUMIR APÓS O ALMOÇO, pois você vai acabar consumindo em menor quantidade e uma refeição completa vai reduzir os picos de glicose.
FIBRAS E OLEAGINOSAS podem reduzir a vontade de doce e o Coco também diminui, faz o teste e me fala.
EXERCÍCIO FÍSICO também ajuda a controlar essa vontade de doce.😉
🤔Ahh, se mesmo fazendo essas estratégias você não conseguir ter controle, então procure uma nutricionista, pois pode ser falta de algum micronutriente.

Toasting to Tuesday with one of my ultimate favourite quick lunches- CHICKPEA MASH ✨ This easy recipe has gotten me through MANY busy stages of life and I still come back to it because it’s so delicious 🌿 There’s so many variations of this online, but this is my favourite way to make it- I’ve adapted it from @ohsheglows ! 🙌🏼.
To make 👇🏼:
Drain and rinse 1 can of chickpeas. In a large bowl, mash with a potato masher or back of fork until mostly mashed. Mix in 4 stalks of diced celery, 1/2 diced red pepper, 1/4 diced red onion, the juice of 1/2 lemon, 1 tbsp vegan mayo, 1/2 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp relish, 1 tsp garlic powder + 1/2 tsp black pepper. Mix to combine, then serve on your favourite toast, with crackers or as a salad topper! 💛
