The smell of fresh roasted and just grounded coffee is something that gets me so excited.
I love it and started to prepare my own varieties at home, grinding, pouring and adjust it every time as I like.
It has become a ritual and is the beauty of being aware of what you do, that let also the smallest thing become special!
Coffee for a lot of people has become an addiction and can be a very obsessive if you can’t live without it.
I love coffee, but the thing I love most is drinking it for pleasure not cause I need it.

Make it EASY to be a "GYM-GOER" here are three tips to help you get into the gym
1.) Pick your gym location wisely
When selecting a gym, don't just go for the closest one, pick the most convenient one. Consider the following: 🏠Do I want a gym near my house, or my work?
⏳Do I want a gym with late-night hours?
⏲When will I usually be working out? What part of the city will I be in at that time?
If your gym is easily accessed, it won't seem like as much of an uphill battle.
2.) Focus on WHEN not WHAT
There are many workout programs out there, most of them technically work. The hard part is finding the time to workout 🌞Are you willing to wake up early?
🌚Are you willing to deal with extending your day?
Everything comes with a trade-off. Choose wisely!
3.) Always keep a gym bag packed💼
Do you ever feel like just leaving the house takes a mental to-do list and entirely too much time?
Make it easy for yourself and keep a gym bag ready and packed. If you really need the extra push, leave yours by the door. It's best to keep your gym bag light and minimal.
Meal prepping breakfast burritos for next week...high fiber tortilla, eggs, chorizo, and jalepeno shredded cheese. Makes it easier to make ahead and freeze these for early mornings. I just thaw them overnight in the fridge, warm up in microwave, grill them a little on each size to crisp them up and add a little homemade salsa. Luckily the Hubs enjoys them too 😊

Like a lot of people I avoided carbs like the PLAGUE during my disordered eating days. ❌ I mean, they made you fat, right?? 🙈 WRONG!
Carbs are our bodies preferred energy source. Your BRAIN needs carbs each day! By listening to diet cultures lies and avoiding carbs I was literally putting my brain on the line. Nottttt the best idea, huh?🤔
It sounds extreme, but think about it. The last time you went on an extremely low carb diet, how did you feel? My guess is not the best. And if you’re like me and like to workout, chances are your workouts suffered, too.
Learning to make peace with food means learning to make peace with things like carbs. Honestly, it was super tough for me to do. It’s like “carbs=bad” has been tattooed on our foreheads or something. 🙅♀️But, no. It’s just a diet culture lie.
So, friends, have the sandwich. Enjoy the crackers. Your body will be thankful that you’re providing it with adequate energy. And, by doing so, you’re MUCH less likely to binge on high-carb foods. 🙌🏻

There’s beauty in competing only with myself; I don’t have to live up to people’s ridiculous and unrealistic expectations; only my own. @bradleymartyn hit it right on the nail when he said that the things he does and the work he puts in will never 100% work for anyone else. People are cut from a different cloth so why try to live up to some expectation that some workout program will yield the same results as your idols? Do what works for you and never believe in, “if it worked for them it’ll work for me” because that’s never ever promised.
How to make chicken not suck! 🍗 (swipe to see ingredients in each marinade)
Looking to switch up your chicken routine? I got you covered. These combos are simple and easy to whip up for the week. In the photo, I’m using my silicone, reusable, dishwasher safe @stasherbag to marinade the chicken to help cut down on my use of plastic for the environment and for me!
What to do:
1. Combine ingredients in a bowl.
2. Place chicken and marinade a bag.
3. Marinade in fridge for 2 hours.
4. Bake for 25 min @ 450 degrees for a 7oz breast
Below are the marinades. Each makes 1 serving, multiply for each chicken breast you have.
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp honey
1/4 cup cilantro leaves chopped
1 clove garlic minced
Sea salt to taste
Coconut Curry :
1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
1 tbsp red curry paste
1 tbsp curry powder
Sea salt to tase
Jalapeño Lime Marinade
1 tbsp avocado oil
1-2 jalapeños, cut
Sea salt to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp minced ginger
1/8 tsp red pepper flake
Sea salt to taste
