I’m very lucky to have this guy in my life. He has been my support throughout this journey.
He’s been there during my ups and downs, when I was struggling with getting out of bed, when I felt so sad and unmotivated because I couldn’t do burpees or sit-ups, when I felt sick after day 1 and had to throw up, when I felt down thinking I can’t do it because it’s too hard..

I’ve been doing a tonne of reading on balancing blood sugar levels lately. Why? My skin has gone on a riot along my jawline. The cause? PCOS. I knew when I came off the pill that this was going to be a likely effect and while it’s not anything too crazy it’s painful and irritating AF...as well as knocking that confidence back down. So diet is a big focus for me right now. Duh 🙄 If you’ve got problems stabilising blood sugar levels it’s important to a) focus on the right foods, foods with a lower glycemic index and b) have protein with every meal, this helps to stop your levels from peaking 😳 Supplementing chromium can also help balance things out 💁🏻♀️

Having a @traderjoes has officially changed the game🙌🏼🙌🏼 I finally got my hands on the almighty cauliflower gnocchi and I’ll be the one to tell you.... it lives up to the hype😍 Added TJ’s tomato basil marinara (which I could eat with a SPOON it was so good,) romaine, avocado, and @goveggiefoods vegan parmesan and finished the entire bag no problem! Best meal.

Just have a go! You may not be perfect at something - most people aren’t! But it is so important to jump right in and have a go at anything your heart desires. I am nowhere near the perfect yogi, but I do enjoy my yoga lessons and my practice 🧘🏽♀️. I started again about a year ago when I was recovering from a massive anxiety ridden state, that I had found myself in. I have shoulder problems and was also still gaining strength after a really bad flu infection. I needed an outlet, a place to nurture my mind, body and spirit and to get my body moving again and to regain my bodies strength. Yoga was my calling, I found a beautiful teacher online and I took my daughter with me. I want to teach her early that life is what you make of it and to not take notice of others judgement, just live and serve with compassion and kindness. Yoga helped restore my mind and spirit, the body is still being worked on 😊 my strength and flexibility is improving slowly, my shoulders are better after each and every practice. And I found self love again, it is so important to love yourself, that way you are fully there to love others. So go do what your heart desires, because somewhere deep inside your mind, body and spirit are asking you to go for it 👊🏼.
Earthing / Grounding - the feeling of walking bare foot on Mother Earth 🌏. Such a simple yet glorious way to connect with the earths natural energy. Earthing helps reduce inflammation and pains, increase energy and lower stress and anxiety. We should all include earthing in our lives.

lookin like a snaaackkkk 🍞🥑 okay tbh it doesn’t look all that appetizing but it tastes good! i mashed together 1/2 an avocado and 1/2 can of @wildplanetfoods tuna with some salt and pepper, then put it on a slice of sourdough toast and added some honey mustard. i’ve been knocking out a lot of school work this week because i’ll be out of town with my fam this weekend and i just want to enjoy that time with them - when this happens, i don’t get on insta very much. i feel like i constantly go through phases where i’m super about it, then the next second i just can’t put any brain power towards it. haven’t figured out that balance yet 🙃 soooo hang in there with me please!! hope you’re all having a fab wednesday 🤗
