I spent 6 months of my journey fighting my food addiction and getting my mind in the right space. I didn’t step foot in a gym until 7 months into my journey. According to a study done by JAMA Pediatrics, the number of children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) has reached more than 10 percent, a significant increase in the last 20 years.
The rise was most pronounced in minority groups. The rate of diagnosis during that time period doubled in girls, although it was still much lower than in boys.
But the researchers say they found no evidence confirming frequent complaints that the condition is over diagnosed or misdiagnosed.
The U.S. has significantly more instances of ADHD than other developed countries, which researchers said has led some to think Americans are over diagnosing children. Dr. Wei Bao, the lead author of the study, said in an interview that a review of studies around the world doesn’t support that.
In interpreting their results, however, the study’s authors tied the higher numbers to better understanding of the condition by doctors and the public, new standards for diagnosis and an increase in access to health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.

Those are the days where you really test your discipline, perseverance & true grit.
I feel like a lot of people are enamored with the idea of being an 'influencer' or a freelancer and while I think it's fucking awesome to make your passion your work I worry that a lot of people are infatuated with a fantasy and for the wrong reasons.
I'm kind of reluctant to call myself an influencer. Partly because of the cringe factor but mostly because I don't really feel like that's my job. I don't promote many products that aren't my own on this page and I still earn most of my living offline (even though SM is a great client funnel for me). I am a freelancer though. I've been mostly self employed for a little over 2 years now. I side hustled my way here. I was working on my SM, qualifications and building a client base for a year while working full time. Picking up clients at weekends, networking, going to events, reading a shit load, studying and training.
I think people are under the impression that it's in some way easier to work for yourself. It isn't. Or that if they have a social media following it will automatically transform their lives and success. It won't.
It's really important to ask yourself what your motivation is. If all you're thinking about is "I want a flash car, I want to be rich, I want status" you're probably not going to make it. See all this shit takes hard work and unless you're fucking in love with the process rather than infatuated with the end result you're wasting your time. If there's no love or passion behind it for you then you're better off sticking to your 9-5 and working your way up the lader. Honestly.
Secondly, it's important to ask yourself what and who you're doing this for. Who and what are you in service to. Because when it's all about you and the car and the money chances are you probably won't provide a good enough service to get where you want to be.
Ask yourself who you want to be helping and what they need most. Provide that with fire in your soul and a fuck load of determination. Provide value because you love what you do and believe in your cause and then you just might be on to something... Shout out to my side hustlers and dreamers that will be working on their souls purpose this weekend 🙌🔥
Happy Friday everyone! This morning I decided to switch up my workouts and do my lifting before work instead of my normal cardio. But if you didn’t know I actually hate doing squats and training legs because my legs are always sore. But I guess that’s the price I pay for loving to run so much. So before you hate on my form or something just know I already know that my squats aren’t the best but we are learning. Swipe to see what my leg workout consisted of today.
