Shenmue 1 & 2 ✨✨
Thanks to my amazinggg boyf I get to experience these Dreamcast classics!!
Been so keen to play this since seeing a funny review on it. Cheesy games with such high praise are right up my alley 🌚🌻
L.A. Noire for Nintendo Switch. Another late post of an old Switch acquisition from before I started posting my collection on insta. I got this one the day it came out in fact. I had never played it before and liked it a lot when I finally could play it on my Switch. I guess my main complaint would be with the heavy pop-in that happens when driving fast down the streets of L.A., poor Switch has a hard time keeping up loading assets on the fly and it shows. Another complaint has nothing to do with the porting job or the Switch version in particular but more with the game itself in general: There isn't much to do in L.A. besides the main stuff. There's a whole bunch of relatively useless and uninteresting collectibles to find, but no optional activities to speak of. After 40 hours I had done pretty much all that was to be done and for such a large game, that's a bit disappointing. Still I liked it a lot. This will remain however the only Switch game ever that I agree to pay for which comes incomplete on the cartridge. I made an exception here, but never will again. I chose to boycott those since. #instagamer#gamecollection#gamestagram#gamersofinstagram#instagaming#videogames#games#game#gaming#gamer#videogameaddict#hardcoregaming#hardcoregamer#videogamecollection#nintendo#nintendoswitch#rockstargames#lanoire#teambondi#virtuos
Picked up this baby last night. Played for about eight hours and I'm still on the first level. 😂 I couldn't stop exploring. They made it open world/sandbox-ish, unlike 2033 and Last Light. For those who don't know, they added on the go crafting (though it is limited) so you can mod your weapons and make filters/med kits, etc. anywhere, if you have the resources. There are also safe houses with workbenches scattered around so you can craft ammo, upgrade armour, your gas mask, etc., again if you have the resources or found any upgrades wandering about. Definitely a cool feature. A bit more difficult than I expected, imo, but I can't wait to see what's in store!
A game I’m keen to start this year bc of @lukelikesgames and @persy.rx.gaming 👋🏻
Honestly. One thing I love about the gaming community on Instagram is how many amazing games are often shared around. I’ve found some lifelong favourites this way 😁
