Life with kids is unpredictable and time consuming, and setting aside an hour or more for workouts that require a commercial gym is recipe for failure for many parents.
Focus on making your workouts as short and simple as possible while still being effective, with exercises you can perform in the comfort of your home with minimal or no equipment. You will be amazed at the amount of stuff you can do and the results you can achieve without ever stepping a foot in a gym!

If your lifestyle, diet or journey to reach a certain goal is taking more out of your life than its adding to your life, maybe it’s time to reconsider. If you’re spending more time in isolation because you can’t fathom anyone/anything interrupting your grind, maybe it’s time to reconsider.
This was me. Fitness and food wasn’t just a part of my life, it CONSUMED my life and didn’t leave room for much else. I can tell you there was hella room in my leggings tho lol. Fast forward six years later and I’m the strongest I’ve ever been: no longer just existing, I’m living, I’m taking up space and I’m manifesting a sustainable life while still enjoying fitness and food as a part of my life, but not my whole life.
Not only were my habits + restrictions a danger to myself, they were a danger to others as well. Strong looks and feels different on everybody and it’s ok if you don’t love your body every moment of everyday. I still have days where I feel like I rolled out of a dumpster. But it helps to keep in mind that your worth as a human being isn’t defined by your willpower to resist the enjoyment of what your life has to offer to try to attain perfection. Oh, and spoiler alert: perfection is a misnomer when it comes to a goal. Society doesn’t make it easy to grasp that concept these days, but the more we learn about how beautifully unique we all are, the easier it becomes to have a healthier and more neutral mindset when it comes to our lives. Think about it: you don’t love your friends because they’re perfect, you love them because they’re good people, they add substance to your life as you do theirs. Perspective is everything.
