Woke up and worked out. Anyone else's throat scratchy? I'm thinking it's the beginning of allergies. I get them every year. Hopefully my allergy meds will prevent any sinus infections this year. Never miss a Monday! No excuses!
Some mela prep done for the coming week. @giantkillerfitness Pictured: extra lean ground turkey, lean Italian seasoned ground turkey, steamed broccoli and stir-fry cauliflower rice. Most the rest of my meal prep consist of mainly fresh veggies (spinach, cherry tomatoes, spring mix, zucchini, squash, cucumber). Getting in them #micronutrients. I don’t repackage my meals anymore. I pick and choose from the bulk food prep I’ve made to make a meal. For example, from what I’ve made so far, I’ll have extra lean turkey with broccoli. Maybe next day it’s worn stir fry cauliflower. We did it! Super job to all the Running Club kids. Our school won for the biggest club and participation in the race. Three of our kids took 1st place in their age groups. This weekend my husband and I took a mini get-away to the mountains in WV. Instead of running and trying to plan plan plan (My usual M.O.)- I just let go and went with the flow. All the hiking was enough of a workout when you’re in higher altitude! I felt so refreshed and recharged this morning when I got back into my routine ☺️ Happy Sunday Runday friends!
How many pilates instructors does it take to screw in a 💡? No, really though, how many times do we approach the same problem without thinking of a new way to get it done? We have patterns, we have tools we use but what happens when we think outside the box? Instead of waiting for a ladder or someone taller I used the tools I had at my disposal and #gotitdone 💪🏼 what can you do differently with tools you already have this week??
So I was driving home and I had my window open and something flew in my window and hit my neck.. needless to say I couldn’t stop freaking out as to wtf hit my neck the rest of the way (luckily it’s a short drive 🤣) this was the face of finding a beetle in my hoodie when I took it off 😫
Anywho, super tired today. But got my cardio in. Just got home, time to eat and get ready for tomorrow. One more long day this week then a short day Friday!

God has given us many benefits today! He’s given us so much to be thankful for. When you meditate on His goodness, faithfulness and blessings in your life, it will change you on the inside.
When you focus on the fact that He saved you and set you free, the challenges and obstacles in your life will begin to fade away.
Psalm 103 goes on to say that “He crowns you with love and compassion and satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed.” No matter what you may be facing today, forget not His benefits!
God wants to satisfy you with good things. If you need healing today, healing is a benefit. If you’ve made mistakes in your life, forgiveness is a benefit. If you feel tired and overwhelmed, strength is a benefit.
As you turn your thoughts toward the Father today, He will strengthen and empower you to live as an overcomer in every area of your life!

So after yesterday and my little vent and few videos I was message numerous times I #of tons of encouragement and motivation from others ,telling me that I’m an inspiration to them , that they know the feeling, and it made me realize we’re all human we have our bad days we have out really good days and we have this journey we start from somewhere and when I look back I’ve come really far and I know that, I think just sometimes you get tired and you want to take a break and you wish you didn’t have to work so hard to maintain but it’s a lifestyle and it’s how bad you want it ,saying “you eat like shit you feel like shit” couldn’t be more true ,working out does make you feel great ,but once you leave that gym it’s all up to you ,and when I say balance unfortunately I took the balance to a more comfortable balance LOL I think for myself I enjoyed my summer that’s for sure and I wouldn’t switch anything about it even though my clothes don’t fit the same even though I’m bloated more than ever, even though I know how to eat good but I also feel my whole schedule has been out of whack, training has been on pause here and their ,summer break means summer trips for everybody so each week my schedule changes and for me when I’ve been on a tight schedule I can maintain so much easier so I definitely know the curves and I definitely know the bumps in the roads of maintaining it’s not easy but it is damn worth it, So this morning I set my alarm for 4:15 grab the big girl panties put them on and killed it 👊🏻 Happy Friday AND thank you to those who reached out to me 💪🏻 #someoneneedstoclea themirror #gymselfie#gotitdone#inspired#fitness#journey#lifestyle#thestruggleisreal#gym#session#fitlife#maintain#life#trainhard#motivacion#determination#striveforprogressnotperfection#fitfriday#sweatmorewhineless
