Good Morning and happy Tuesday !! 🌞 Today I’m going to be traveling back home for thanksgiving, which means a 7 hour drive...😴 so for today’s post I’m showing you how to travel and yet stay on track and eat clean! You’ll notice in my post I packed a sufficient amount of food but the reasoning for this is if you look closely you can see each food is from a different food group. You never know what you might be craving on a long drive so I packed every kind of food so I never feel like I need to jump off track!
Food I brought listed below ⬇️
• Almond butter and jelly sandwich. Since I am leaving right after school I will be very hungry so this will be my lunch 🥜 *32 grams of almond butter and 18 grams of jelly*
• A green apple to satisfy my sweet tooth if I get one 🍏
• 28 grams of pop corners white cheddar chips for my salty tooth (which is what I am so these will for sure be eaten😜)
• Can’t forget your veggies ! Carrots and celery with 28 grams of hummus
Most importantly... don’t forget a napkin !!!! Nothing’s worse then having a mess and nothing to clean it with!
For my vegan followers, I’m almost 100% sure my whole pack is all vegan which means anyone can try this out ! I hope you find this useful and use it on your next road trip 🚙🚙

icymi, i ranted a lil on my stories yesterday about how i haven’t been treating my body as kindly as i usually do — i’ve still been actively moving my body 5-6 times per week, yet i’ve been eating foods that make me feel terrible...and a lot of it. it’s healthy food, it’s junk food...anything in front of me is fair game. it’s an endless cycle: overeating, physical discomfort, frustration, repeat.
we’ve all been there — we think: what’s wrong with me? why do i have 0 self control?? but we have to remind ourselves that NOTHING is wrong with us. reroute your thoughts and instead of asking “what’s wrong with me?”, rather ask “what am i feeling prior to this behavior?” or “is anything upsetting me currently?” or maybe even “have i been restricting myself subconsciously?” look further and deeper. remind yourself it happens to everyone, even the most “perfect” people. you might realize you’re putting too much pressure on yourself to be someone you’re not. alter your thought pattern, address what might be causing this behavior, and most importantly — be kinder to yourself!

DEAATS: on the stove top 2/3 cup old fashioned oats, 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, scoop pumpkin purée, stevia, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, scoop of @siggisdairy Pumpkin & Spice yogurt (y’all gotta add yogurt to your oats they make them EXTRA creamy) topped with a baked pear (15 min at 450 w coconut oil & cinnamon) sunflower seeds and golden raisins ✨

HAPPY MONDAY, my people! i woke up jet lagged & feeling negative about the long day ahead. after a big cup of coffee, i realized that i couldn’t control my schedule or the length of my day. i could only control my mindset
so, i asked myself: how will i choose to approach this day? right then, i turned up the music in my car, started a mini dance party & went to @livebeaming to grab myself this smoothie as an afternoon treat. i decided to get EXCITED about seeing kids and aiding them in their speech all day. i decided to turn the negative into positive, just because i COULD. and you know what?! it’s been one of the best days i’ve had in a whiiiiile
we can’t control a lot of things. but what we can control our mindset. i give this advice to people on the daily, and sometimes i don’t even harness it for myself. a great reminder that turned into a great monday! hope you’re all enjoying the day :)

Like this @Successrice Jasmine Rice it cannot get any easier or taster than this by simply adding a few ingredients. Perfect for busy weekdays or any day really. If I can master cooking a recipe like this with Success, I can master anything! For this recipe I just cook the rice as instructed on the box. Seared a pound of shrimp (or my favorite seafood ) adding two slices of fresh garlic, a pinch of salt and black pepper, small diced tomatoes and green bell peppers infusing everything in coconut milk. Cook on low for 5 more minutes. Served over a heaping mound of success jasmine rice, with a splash of lemon, and a touch of cilantro. Enjoy! #sponsored#successrice#successcangotoyourhead#successquinoa
