There may just be a difference between being satisfied with your life versus being happy. Which one are you?
This is one of the sweet little children that was laughing her head off with amusement and joy while playing silly games like ‘duck duck goose’ with western youth.
This is someone who may never get the opportunity to travel and see a different world with different looking people. Some may say that strangers who come to communities like hers, to lend a helping hand, bring a little more than just physical maintenance; they bring different parts of the world right to the doorstep.
Looking up Boulder creek towards the base of Mount Baker... I just couldn’t get the right light for the shot but enjoyed the moment and wanted to share it with you guys... I’ll capture this beautiful area another day for sure... but until then, enjoy!💯

We all love to ski the big open powder fields in the backcountry, but I really appreciate the little pillows, the pockets of powder between trees, and the small fields too.
Here is @noahseligson hitting one of those pocket pillows.
| No matter what, rain or shine, it it’s swimmable, Cooper is in there. It was 42 degrees outside but Cooper still swam in circles until we had to leave (very reluctantly, of course!) Sage...not so much. Despite being half Husky, the water is still a bit intimidating for this puppy!
The ladies fucking around on the lake. Have fun in LA kirra.

Missing the desert today. I literally count the days until I'm back, standing in red dirt.

Week 3 called for more #trailaweekchallenge action.
Ran the Hau'ula loop trail and a little bonus trail for a quick 800 foot climb while my daughters napped. The majority of the trail was through a Cook Pine grove with a whole lot of ferns. Great views of surrounding mountains and the ocean. The cherry on top was finishing with a cool down dip at the beach shown at the end.

Creamy dreamy sunrise. I take my last post back, this guy deserved to be posted without the crop.
The light was good. The company was good. The lake was good.

Oh BC, you beauty. I can’t wait to explore more of you ↟↟ .
I don’t think I told you guys actually... but 3 weeks ago @mchutch5 and I officially activated our Canadian Residency Visa, which means we are now officially PERMANENT RESIDENTS! Yaaaaaay!!! 🇨🇦 .
There have been so many steps to this crazy visa process, I’m so glad it’s nearly done. We now can’t leave the country for the next little while until our PR card officially arrives, but then it’s 100% done and finished and we’ll be free to explore wherever we want again! .
I would LOVE to know if you guys have any questions about the whole Visa/PR process? I wanna create more useful blog content for you newcomers to Canada as well as those wanting to get PR.
So let me know in the comments and I’ll try to make it happen and perhaps put an FAQ together too 💫

I went on my first ever climbing trip in September 2017, and was fortunate enough to have it be in Chamonix, the birthplace of alpinism. I was way out of my comfort zone and admittledy afraid of the exposure and heights. However it didn't take long until I became addicted to the adrenaline and problem solving aspects involved with climbing. In a pursuit to access hard to reach landscapes, become more immersed in the alpine setting and to gain new perspectives I have been constantly humbled. There are a lot of new challenges involved with shooting while attached to a rope and I am beyond grateful for the mentors i’ve had thus far!
If you’re a photographer or just enjoy taking photos there’s a good chance you’ve undergone some challenges at some point. Whether it’s been physical, mental, weather related, or even a language barrier @captureonepro is challenging you to share the stories behind your images. When you tag them with #captureone and #nevercompromise you automatically enter to win a FujiFilm X-T20 camera along with a Capture One Pro 12 license! Sounds pretty good to me, check out their page for more info.

Why take just one picture of Mount St. Helens when you can take 886? The only problem then is which moment to share? 🤔
That’s why I love timelapses so much. They allow me to just sit back, relax and take in the unfolding scene without worry. It takes a bit of commitment to stick to just one composition, but that’s what 2nd and 3rd cameras are for, right?

This massive treehouse is 10,000 square foot and has 80 rooms! It took 20 years to finish and about $12,000. It was shut down due to safety regulations by the Fire Marshall and has been Bando ever since. Unfortunately kids are starting to break windows and other random items inside. Glad I’ve had a chance to experience this beauty in person 🙌🏻
Rad shots of our friend @sparkofwanderlust by our other friend @heykelseyj! 👯♀️
Alizah and Kelsey went on a wild helicopter ride over the fjords, glaciers, and peaks of New Zealand!

I'm looking at this photo and laughing because it doesn't offer the slightest hint as to all the snow we encountered almost the whole way up. 😂
Another interesting outing with @prettyhandsdave⠀
