UPDATE: I’m heading to Preston today for 6 days, to work at a Summer Youth Camp! I’m a youth leader & it’s an exciting & rewarding role! Seen @_melissa.agnew_ in the que before my show and i was having an absolute melt down🍒nerves kicking in, didnt know if i wanted to be sick, throw up or jump about like a lunatic and i remember this little lady giving me the pep talk of my life, telling me shed be screaming my name and just to go do my thing🥂this journey really has opened my eyes and brought some amazing people into my life who i love to see doing well and being part of there journey to hopefully help them and encourage them in ways they have for me🍉sometimes i think to myself will i ever compete again or make the changes i need to allow myself to be at the standard to get to where i want💫then other times im like hell yeah lets do this when the time is right for me ill smash it💋but i guess in the mean time i just have to listen to my heart and what my body and mind want as other things are in the sight at this moment and time, then we go from there💥

**ZERO WASTE LONDON MEET-UP!** Just 2 weeks to go. Who’s up for some FREE yoga? I’ve teamed up with @theyogagirllondon and @sustainable_stephanie to put together a yoga class and a ‘bring your own’ Zero Waste picnic in the park! Today I found a teeeeny bit of motivation to train and jumped on it, stole a training session from @gracefituk and got myself into the gym 🙌🏼 As I say, I can't take credit for this session, but I've listed it below incase you want to try it out, it takes between 30-45 mins so it's worth a go if you want to feel the 🔥 without spending hours in the gym.

I did all of these banded (just above the knee) & performed each superset 3x with 1min rest between each 😘

No matter how exhausted / tired I feel, I always leave feeling 110% more energised than I entered. 💃🏻🎉 #endorphins 🎉
I love training in the morning but I do however train in the PM whenever I haven’t been or when I didn’t have the time to go in the AM. •
I get asked how do I be motivated to train, my friends today motivation wasn’t UP there. 😂🙉 truth is you won’t always have motivation to go but once you go, you’ll be SO glad ya did. And this is also a reason to not solely rely on motivation as it’s not always there. 😘
How do you know if your am or pm? 💁🏻♀️ •Trial training in the AM & PM and see what works best for you. Everyone has different preferences when it comes to this so do it whenever suits you. •But don’t tie yourself to that time as life happens and sometimes you have to choose between your goals or missing that session.
Ps always remember to choose the option that will get you closer to your goals & make you feel happier. ☺️❤️ arrived in Sydney, unpacked our trailer and got our session done. 👫now for burgers 👫🍔🍟

When I first started ‘properly’ lifting weights it was because I tore a ligament in my knee and the plyo part of the activities I loved (body combat 🥊, grit etc) were just too risky. I really didn’t wanna put on fat by sitting around and not working out so decided I’d test out the ‘weights can keep you lean’ thing, along with the arm bike at the gym I used to go to. I had 4 moves that I used to do in sequence and felt comfortable with: shoulder press, overhead tricep extension, bent over row and bench press. I used the same 10kg weight(s) for each of them so all I needed was to find a bench and I was away. Weeks went by, then I started reading up in other movements to work my shoulders, chest and back and gradually felt confident enough to try them. And that was it, the rest is history. I learned so much along the way, got familiar with form and good habits, learned how to actually make the muscles that I wanted to target work, and now I can walk into a gym anywhere and give myself a full body blasting with a few seconds to eye up the kit. And if there’s no kit.. I can handle that too! Do I know everything? no. Will I ever? Also no. That’s part of the fun! -
It all comes with a lot of patience, finding something you are comfortable with and sticking with it. Regular exercise will be one of your greatest achievements, you can do it!

Sunday 💛 The day most of us start thinking about the week ahead and the day we often make big plans about changes we want to make that we think will benefit our health. This is something I get asked about all the time and how exactly can we make our changes sustainable 🤷🏼♀️ The truth is, until the pain of remaining the same is greater than the pain of making a change, making any sustainable changes are always gonna be a challenge. An example I often give of this is when people wait until they have a health scare and then decide at that point that it’s time to start thinking more about their lifestyle choices. But, I get it. I get that it can be difficult to think about changing habits when you maybe don’t feel an immediate impact on your health and wellbeing with what your lifestyle choices are now but come on, we all know, that the choices we make routinely now, can have an impact on our health in the future. So, what can you do about this now? Reduce the pain of change.
1️⃣ I encourage you to put your positive pants on and think about what positive benefits making healthy changes will make to you in the shorter term e.g. increased energy, improved mood, improved sleep, better self esteem etc etc
2️⃣ Take it slow. Consider making just one or two small changes each week and stick with it for at least 3 weeks. Don’t give up at the first hurdle. If the changes you’ve made are challenging to you, don’t make anymore until this becomes easier. Be patient.
If you’re thinking about giving up next time you’ve tried to make a change, I encourage you to think back to this. How long have you actually given it? DO YOU FEEL NERVOUS ABOUT TAKING THOSE FIRST STEPS INTO THE GYM?
You aren't alone. So many people feel anxious about stepping foot in a gym, especially on their own. If you have little knowledge of gym equipment, exercises & anything else, it can be daunting going somewhere new!
But we can push ourselves past that comfort zone. Put your headphones on, watch some videos for ideas & inspiration & remember everyone has those times they don't feel 100%. Everyone has to start somewhere.
If you're in the Leicester based area and you need that support to get you started in your fitness journey, I truly recommend @foxhoundfitness
There are a group of wonderful individuals who work there (all qualified PT's) who can help push you to your goals. It isn't an open gym, so you don't have to worry about a huge swarm of people. Just private, personal training sessions in a comfortable environment.

If you think that because I do certain things, that I am a certain WAY, I DON’T 👏🏻 care to know ya.
None of this takes away from my gnarly personality or my extensive knowledge of life and myself.

This is what I alllllways tell myself when I start second guessing an outfit or a booty photo or when i see someone laughing at me and my tripod:
If someone is going to judge you for it, fuck that person. Brush the hate off and do you!
There are times where I’ll see something I disagree with and I’ll start getting all judge-y in my head and I’m like “wait. I’m a pot-head stoner, bodybuilder chick who frankly smells pretty often and can eat for a family of 6 in one sitting. I betcha a lot of people think I’m a fucking weirdo too.”
And then the thoughts subside and I get on with myself.
Do your own thang, don’t let anyone make you feel weird about it, and have a killer weekend 🤗

Soz guys but it's all boring bedroom selfies in my underwear this week because I'm stuck in werking and its far too hot for clothes.
This year has honestly been such a whirlwind!
It started out with me sick, in London, doing a job that was making me miserable, heartbroken, hating my body & feeling like my life had just spiralled out of control.
Through this monumentally shitty process I've completely fallen in love with my body. Not because its perfect but just because it is.
I don't hold it to a million conditions anymore: If its skinny enough, muscular enough, if my bum is big enough, my abs are marked enough, how strong it is, if my health is good, how hungry it gets etc.. None of these things matter anymore. My body is currently in this natural state. I work out because I love it. I eat when & what I want. I've lost muscle, my bum is smaller, my abs aren't showing, I'm not as strong as I once was & some days are harder than others when it comes to my health but I'm just grateful.
When I was 17 I spent 3 months bed bound wondering if my life would ever be the same again or if I'd end up not being able to walk. When I got sick again this year all those fears came flooding back. Was this it? Was this the moment I had always been dreading?
I couldn't do the things I was use to, the things I had built my life around anymore and this could have broken me but instead it taught me to just be where I am.
I'm so much stronger in myself for it. I truly believe that my mentality is what got me back on my feet again. I truly believe great things are accessible to anyone and everyone. Life isn't perfect but it's what you make it.
Be where you are. You can't be anywhere else. Take it one day at a time. One foot in front of the other. Small steps to big change.

Bit of a different post today! Why you ask-
Well its actually important and an important message for anyone watching me do this. I just wanted to 100% clarify that I am not dropping weight and getting lean because I think I'm fat!! This is not my reasoning behind it! If you are a girl or guy struggling with your body image, as you follow me during this process do not compare yourself!! I have been in that mindset before and still every single day I catch myself falling back into it, and I pull myself back out!! This is part of the sport that I love more then anything in the world and that I live and breathe.
Secondly - here have some personality! If you have met me you will know I'm pretty bubbly, and pretty loud 🙊. I also laugh more then anyone! Jesse says to me atleast 50 times a week, "I have never known someone to laugh as much as you." Sometimes when I'm really focused on what I'm training im not as chatty or giggly or I just get to the gym to get it done cuz theres only one way to the top!! But the the other 80% of the time I think I spend more time laughing then anything else!! So here, have some happiness for your Sunday!
