Happy weekend, folks! What a week it has been! Learned a lot about the NHS and its plans moving forward at the #HSJSummit, played netball (and fell), accidentally hugged a stranger in the tube for a good full stop (morning rush hour and cramped trains), and had a few life updates. This weekend I’m celebrating a friend’s birthday and doing some life admin. Phew.
I hope you guys had an awesome week and if not, chin up - the weekends are for pressing the reset button 😘🌅♥️
When the storm clouds rise
And the sky is dark
And I'm pressed with anxious care
I've a safe retreat in the strong, high tower
For no ill can harm me there
I'll hide in Your safe retreat
Hide in Your safe retreat
When the storm clouds fly
'Til they pass me by
I will hide in Your safe retreat
When the lightnings flash
And the thunders roar
And the storms in fury be
When they seem so sure to engulf my soul
Then I'll hide in Your safe retreat
Soon the storms will pass
And the sky will clear
And my rest be calm and sweet
I will trust and wait with no anxious fear
For I'll hide in Your safe retreat

It wouldn’t be a complete trip to the Dolomites without a visit to Lago di Braies. I put my foot into the freezing water getting up onto this rock, all in the name of a perfect picture 😆 #doitforthegram#lagodibraies
I tried to calm the waves and tame the mountains.
But true nature wasn’t meant to be controlled. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Newest addition to my tattoo collection. You always hear about those who love either the ocean or the mountains, but I’m one of those who love both equally. They remind me of a lot of things; no one can stop the waves from crashing and, despite the wind and rain and human touch, the mountains still stand tall. •⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
”Lascia che sia” means let it be in Italian. Something I’m constantly reminding myself. Like the ocean and the earth, if you can’t change it, if you can’t control it, then let it be. And even if you can, some things are better left untouched.

You know those times when you take a risk and it turns out the best possible way? 〰️
This was one of those moments. After a less than perfect start for our Bali trip, we made some big decisions, cancelled our accommodation and went to another part of the island. In this photo we had just arrived a few hours ago, the sun was setting, we felt at home already and immediately knew we had made the right decision by changing our plans. 〰️
It can feel stressfull to suddenly change directions, but sometimes you just have to listen to your gut because it always knows what’s right for you. 😊 Do you agree?

Climbing a pole and to juggle hoops while on top to entertain, plus the winds that did not make it easy for her.
I can relate ❤️

The sun has set on our time in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. I have mixed feelings about this city. I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to dive in the beautiful underwater playground of Koh Tang (one of a number of islands/reefs off the coast of Sihanoukville). However, I also experienced the development happening in the city - it is currently in the ‘in between’ phase where garbage disposal and recycling have not caught up. I will share more later, both about the development happening in Sihanoukville and the fishing currently happening close to the reefs...but for now, I am off to do some more exploring! #cambodia#explorecambodia#travelcambodia#sunset#rambleher 📸:@asunnierlife
Билеты купили, жилье нашли, достопримечательности посмотрели. Пришло время и покушать. Парочка мест, где дёшево поесть в Праге😋
🍨U Medvidku.

And just so you all know, I was literally banging my head against the wall when I first started trying to use Pinterest for blogging. As a former lawyer, I don’t have any training in social media marketing so my learning curve was steeeeep. A lot of blog posts I read assumed a basic level of knowledge that I just didn’t have. I hope my blog post helps you master Pinterest with less frustration than I had! I really try to break it down in a way that can be understood by anyone starting out on Pinterest.
PS thank you @malvados for gifting me these cute sandals 😘
