Admittedly a bout of flu and starting a new job has not helped but I have been finding that after my beer tour to West Coast America all beer has tasted a bit pedestrian. I've also noticed my north London pubs have got a bit boring in their offering (I must get back to the rose and crown). However, I did enjoy this Gipsy Hill, Swamper, NEPA, 3.5%, session beer at the Exmouth Arms in Euston tonight but then I am always easily impressed at beers under 4% that pack in such a flavoursome punch.
Raver IPA collab by @gipsyhillbrew x @thegardenbrewery // 7.2% ABV
Another beer from the archives today. Had this a couple of months back. Hopped with a mix of Citra and Mosaic, T90 and Cryo pellets. Full of those tropical, fruity notes and a good level of piney resinous hop bitterness on the finish. Delicious! |🙌🏼🕺🏻🔊💥|
Bramble Sour, yes please 😍 This is lovely ... pure berry smoothie with a perfect sour balance. I’m a fan and with high expectations before drinking this I can just say I was not disappointed ... on the contrary. Try this out and hurry down to Kihoskh before everyone else depending on your taste of course 😎 #gipsyhillbrewery#peoplelikeusdk#kihoskh

Gipsy Hill, Swamper NEPA | 3.5%
3.5% and a damn good drop 👏👏
@gipsyhillbrew Denali Pale Ale 3.6%
Pours: A bright yellow-orange cloudy haze colour with a bright white thick head. 🍺
Aroma: You get an inviting fruity, citrus hop smell along with some grassy and herbal tones.
Taste: Thin to medium bodied with medium carbonation. When first taking you get the initial bitterness bite on the tongue which lays the table for a bouquet of tropical fruit flavours along with a spicy herbal bitterness aftertaste that lingers on the tongue.
Summary: A really refreshing and flavoursome pale ale which has a surprising amount of flavour for a 3.6% Pale Ale. Great beer! 🍺
Rating: 3.75 barons
Love love love this vibrant colour in the @gipsyhillbrew x @peoplelikeusdk collaboration bramble sour. It has a flavour to match too, bursting out of the glass, it reminded us of a late summer’s Sunday afternoon for some reason. Very evocative.
