Hey! I’m Leah! 💫 I thought I would do another round of #fridayintroductions ! Here are 5 random facts about me. I’d ❤️ to get to know more of my followers, so please share a fact or 2 (or 5) about you in the comments! 👇🏽
I started my travel blog a little over a month ago & am loving it!
My favorite cities are Paris & London. There’s something so magical about the culture & history in these beautiful places. Check out my newest blog post: “London: A Perfect 4 Day Itinerary” to see how we spent our time there (link in bio!).
My most popular post so far has been “5 Days in Paris: A Perfect, Relaxing Itinerary” (link is also in bio!).
Speaking of Paris, my husband and I went there for our babymoon (notice my baby bump!👆🏽).
Our baby girl is a bundle of joy! She loves the adventures we have taken her on so far (🛶 ⛺️ 🚗). I’m looking forward to blogging more about our family adventures!

When I tell people I do Spartan races there are usually 2 questions: How is that fun? & Why do you do it?
During the race I am going through hell, but there is nothing like the feeling of hitting the bell
My favorite quote by Henry Ford is "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right." There are plenty of times throughout the race I think, "What did I get myself into?!" Or "Am I going to finish?" But for every negative thought I try to have two positive thoughts. The races may seem impossible and awful, but after surviving you realize you're capable of exceeding the limits your mind set. If I designed the course it wouldn't have been nearly as challenging and I still never would have imagined I could finish. Now that Killington is behind me I am ready to buy a season pass for next year and even considering an ultra race. Spartan Races are my way of committing to my goal of being fit for life. We are all addicted to something, why not have an addiction to something beneficial.
Our #Skye adventure continues in style. Yesterday we saw a white tailed eagle almost immediately as we began our 6 hour hike across valleys, mountains and a peat bog. Eventually we arrived after dark at our #bothy for the night, a Viking long house.
Grand Canyon South Rim. I really wanted to like it better than I did. I think next time we need to “budget more time” to hike into the canyon. The overlooks were way too crowded for me. I literally felt like I was at the theme parks here in Florida there were so many people 😭
Perfect autumn afternoon hike up Little Cottonwood Canyon w/@jdeanut who gave me an education about the incredible work of the @centralwasatchcommission
The last stretch up to Flagstaff was quite the scramble and a little unnerving, but the view was spectacular and worth the scare! 🏔🍂

Stepping into the weekend like...
Thank you to @vail_resorts for hosting me / @2chicevents this weekend. We loved visiting our first destination today and can’t wait to see the rest!
Random side note: I’ve been searching for the perfect black skinny pants for work for like...ever. After spending hundreds of dollars on ill fitting pants, I found these on Amazon for $20. Go figure. 🤷🏻♀️

Not gonna lie, it’s been a rough week - which is why a couple days ago I planned to do another “mini-trip” this weekend. Sometimes it’s easier for me to get through things when I know I have something to look forward to at the end of the week!

Also, for those who don’t know, tomorrow is National Public Lands Day (if that gives you any indication of where I’ll be going tomorrow)! All National Parks are free for the day, so plan on getting outside tomorrow 🌲
